The last time I saw Harold Ramis was Seth Rogan's movie, "Knocked Up."

This wasn’t just a goodbye to Egon, it was also for Harold Ramis

Like earl said it’s enough to make a grown man cry and that’s okay you go right ahead tear 💧💧💧

I was lucky to see Afterlife in theaters and it was the best! I laughed, and I cried. The best part was at the end. During the credits the entire audience was singing along to the theme song. I left the theater with a big smile, for it wasn't just a movie it was an experience. I got to relive my childhood. For that I will be eternally grateful.

I wasn't born when Ghostbusters came out, but I love them. I watched the movies, played the games, when i saw this, I cried. I'm still a Ghostbusters fan, and will always be one. God bless them all.

Thank you Egon for answering the final call to kill the evil and making amends with your daughter and now you can cross the bridge to paradise.

Even without the nostalgia, the scene itself is so emotional and powerful. Imagine thinking your dad hated you for the rest of yourlife only to find out that he's distancing himself to protect you and your family. And even as a ghost still protecting you and finally show his face after ending the threat and embracing you is the last thing he did to make up for the times that lost before finally crossing over to the afterlife.

Of course with nostalgia and our love for Harold Ramis, the scene becomes ten times powerful 😢

The musical score that changes when she hugs Harold and they pan to the old ghostbusters was outstanding. Very moving.

Always love the tributes to not only the first two movies but both the toy line and the cartoon, such as Winston's love for Ecto-1.
