Kinda glossed over everything before Bach lol
ОтветитьWagner's centerpiece was a strong but lonesome Jew, loved that shit!
ОтветитьI get the impression from this man that every moment of his life not spent on camera or on a stage is spent partaking in delicious nose candy
ОтветитьHahah lol.
Schoenberg was a romantic through and through, I might able to concede that his pupil Webern opened the door for what he is describing here, but I think most would agree more that the musical development towards fragmentation and ” dissolving the fabric of the universe “ is a later more postmodern activity. Takes ones thoughts towards liggeti and stockhausen.
The other guys at the table like " we should put a serious face atleast"
ОтветитьThey're all wearing suits and Žižek is in a tan T-shirt
Ответитьas a musician I'm very impressed, I didn't expect such deep level of knowledgeable about music and esthetic from a philosopher that usually speaks about society, economics and human behavior.
ОтветитьBabble. Is it the accent or weird affectations that make ppl think this guy some 'genius' or something ?
ОтветитьAs if far richer and greater musical traditions of India and the rest of Asia, Africa etc never happened. Why is this scatterbrained idiot celebrated?
ОтветитьBeing a genius and stupid at the same time is in itself a great talent
ОтветитьHow did he not knock the glass of water over.
ОтветитьHe just assumes everything.
Very unsystematic analysis if even it can be called that.
He assumes that reality dissolves. Well, I'm not so sure if reality is closed, reflexive or open.
Sylvester on drugs
ОтветитьNos ne voyons pas d'autre explication
ОтветитьIf I were sitting on the panel I would have been like "um... yeah... intresting point."
ОтветитьHis tombstone will have written: "Slavoj Zizek and so on and so on"
ОтветитьThis is why you should never wear a suit.
ОтветитьA squid eating dough
in a polyethylene bag,
is fast and bulbous, got me?
Pretty low-resolution view of musical history. I know he only has 3 minuets, but Shoenberg / Berg were merely pathfinders for modernism, and were not composers representative of that whole movement. They simply provided the elementary tools and harmonic language that much greater composers made much greater music with.
ОтветитьHe forgot Gunnerz.
ОтветитьI love that he’s not wearing a suit or even looks generally presentable; that’s some main character shit.
ОтветитьThe guys next to him look as if they were thinking "oh i remeber, back in high school there was a crazy guy like him constantly talking. And this guy here is still wearing the same shirt as in those days..."
ОтветитьZizek is rude to women and has no idea what he is saying is rude. He said in his other videos 'the girl didn't want to ask him up for coffee, she really just wants to ask him to go up and fuck her' horrible character at this day and age! He also said, he thought Trump was stupid for 'marrying a Slovian Woman' horrible jokes, Trump is horrible full stop. Zizek is out of order, he is another Trump! We need to stop communism, only narcissistic characters wants to keep communism going, because they can dictate to people what they want and bully them into being communists! Marx was a narcissistic character! OMG! Stop going backwards, we need to go forward for humanity sake, not communism, communism does not create a good future, because it lacks the deep thinking in the human condition, it does not solve anything, it is cave man day ideas with Women as second class citizens!
Ответить(feeling Zizej with fascist superbreeder propaganda looming)
ОтветитьAuto captions are Italian lmao
Ответить“Sir, this is a Wendy’s”
ОтветитьIf Zizek took heroic dose of acid, acid would trip balls on Slavon Zizek
Ответитьturn the subtitles on and thank me later, it gets even deeper with the captions on and makes much more sense :P
ОтветитьHis dressing style is like saying to the other guys "F*** your dressing code"
ОтветитьI love the mind of slavoj, but man he needs some shrooms to calm down.
ОтветитьIf verbalism had a face
Ответитьberg is his favourite? tell him to try and listen to bohuslav martinu. he will never listen to berg again. 😅
ОтветитьEurope centric version for history of music.
ОтветитьTo much cocaine in his nose
ОтветитьWhere is the FULL discussion? this is frustrating, can't find it on the channel or website
ОтветитьOy. This is what you get when irrepressible egos think they can just merrily blabber on about science or music or painting. I'd be curious to know; can Zizek can even read a score?
ОтветитьHa ha ha ha ha ha 😅
ОтветитьSZzizek is insane. He need's to get laid.
ОтветитьThank you to my boyfriend for showing this to me UwU
Ответить"Sir, this is a Wendy's"
Ответитьall male panel. wtf
ОтветитьAnd so on and so on…
ОтветитьT-shirt, Zizek? Next time wear what's appropriate, please - toga.
ОтветитьThe subtitles, dear god the subtitles
Ответитьnothing he said makes any sense whatsoever
ОтветитьWho even takes this idiot seriously?😂
ОтветитьThis man is afraid of only one thing in the world. Stuttering.
ОтветитьHe gets music history completely wrong tho but it's fascinating to listen to.
Ответить"sir, this is nexus institute"
