Mufti my mehr was 10k riyal because i got nekkahfied in masjid An nabwi i donated my Mehr to the orphanage and half to the needy ones

Good advice mufti but Mehr is a beautiful gift give it with ikhlaaq and love to your wife

Got married on 50 dollars just 50 dollar was my mehr mufti 😊 but I got a man full of imaan he is a loving caring great person people tried a lot don't go for it very less is that blah blah I turned my ear volume off and got married

And he is a reponsible one.
But if he wants to give much (according to his capacity) to express his love...Alhamdulillah.

We are living in strange era everything amazed me

If the husband dies or divorces her, what does she have to fall back on?

1/4 or 1/8 inheritance which may be little or caught up in delay… righteous children to take her in or if she’s lucky parents or brothers?

Is it not wise to provide a financial amount to her (based on the absence of the above) so she can have shelter & food for the period of mourning at least or even, a year so she can get back on her feet?

Especially if she wasn’t working or studying during that time…

It is called Dower* not Dowery
