How Tulane University Revitalized New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina | Johnson Controls

Ten years after Hurricane Katrina, Tulane University is stronger than ever. Since repairing its own damaged infrastructure, Tulane focused on helping rebuild the community–one project at a time–through a partnership with Johnson Controls. http://www.johnsoncontrols.com/katrina MORE BELOW

OVERVIEW:
Every year, Tulane City Center, through the School of Architecture, designs and builds projects in New Orleans, such as Parisite Skatepark and Grow Dat Youth Farm. A $1 million donation from Johnson Controls allows architecture students to take projects from design to completion.

Johnson Controls, a global, multi-industrial company, has had a branch office in the area for 80 years. The local office was instrumental in helping Tulane University repair mechanical and electrical equipment damaged during the disaster.
