West Texas is known for big expansive country, cattle ranching, and hunting. There is a lot of rhetoric out there about how hunting doesn't really benefit anyone. West Texas and the small towns that occur in West Texas heavily rely on hunting for the economies. It's the small towns that have the greatest needs when it comes to economic development, with every slice of the pie playing a pivotal role in the survival of that community. This episode in Connecting the Dots really shows the people that benefit from hunting, the economies that benefit from hunting, and the towns whose livelihoods depend on hunting.
