I think Fragrance World's Just Aswad is a better clone of Sauvage Elixir than Lattafa Asad imo, But thats just my opinion others may disagree

Sillage smells like crap!!! Do not buy that booty. I thought maybe it was just my chemistry. I tried to give it away to 5 different people and they ALL hated it.

Good list I agree on Asad and grasslands those are super cheap and fit the bill. I haven't tested the others. Other than Tres nuit and sillage

For anyone interested in Sillage I can 1000% recommend Arabiyat Prestige blanc. I have sillage and I've tested silver mountain water a few times. Prestige Blanc is the best of both worlds of sillage and silver mountain water. Way smoother than sillage and much better performing than SMW. The greatest clone purchase in my whole collection undoubtedly.

Oh the third time I've seen you recommend a clone over the OG, especially with your love of YSL

Supremacy Silver is fantastic, I have a March 2024 batch and there are no issues with the performance at all
It was a much needed upgrade from Lamborghini Invincibile which I love, but the longevity and projection are both quite weak

Sillage is still very solid. I just revisited Milestone recently after it sitting for nearly a year. I didn’t like it at first and it just collected dust but damn is it good now, such an addictive smell and lasts days on skin!

Asad for the money is phenomenal imo

I know you think the whole “aging” thing is exaggerated. Often it is. But my bottle of Sillage really did smooth out over time and isn’t quite as synthetic as it was when I first picked it up.

There is a video floating around from a perfumer that used to work for creed that says sillage is spot on to original SMW and performs better maybe you might come across it

The only reason I own Grassland is because it was mentioned on this channel around a year ago. It's a rock solid pickup for $20

I could not agree with you more that Assad is the best bang for your buck of all time. It remains one of my best "Ross-recommended" purchases ever (despite the fact that I already had Sauvage Elixir at the time of purchase).

From my nose, I dont really like cedrat essence. Theres something awful smell coming out after the opening. Maybe the creaminess that smell like rotten butter that turn me off, idk. Just save up a lil bit and get the OG as the price now are much cheaper especially a tester bottle.

Gentle Elsatys & Milton Lloyd True Grit are upgrades over the Sauvage edt. Way cheaper too

I smelled green irish tweed for the first time the other day and was disappointed that is didnt smell like tre nuit. It smelled like grass and...almost like an old school barbershop frag. Sauvage the og. Or platinum privee by chanel

Arabiyat Prestige Asha Blanc is better than Club De Nuit Sillage, Fragrance World Just Aswad is better than Asad from my experience

Tres Nuit has grown on me more than any other scent, to the point of being addicting. Its the ultimate outdoors scent for me. That green and citrus stays strong through the life of it. Letting it sit for a while did it wonders.

Tres Nuit I used to really love and it keeps finding its way to the back of the shelf these days. Not that I hate it, I just keep finding things more interesting. I gotta "dust it off" once in awhile myself and spray it even as an out of the shower or casual day around the house to keep it out of my wasteland shelf 😂

One clone that never gets mentioned anymore is Rassasi Dajee which is a identical clone of discontinued Valentino &,still gets head turns & people asking what it is £20 on amazon bought a bottle last week still so good

Great list! I'd still buy Tres Nuit AND Grassland, though. When Tres Nuit switched from EDT to EDP, the longevity ramped up and it's smoother now, so I like it as a twist that sits between Cool Water and GIT. I prefer Grassland as a fragrance to all three of those -- that opening is awesome and something about it is way more modern. Other old hype clones I still love are Armaf Craze and Lattafa Ejaazi Silver.
