In today’s video, I returned the following day after a brand new Ruud RP15, 454B system was installed. On the initial start up of the system the installers had to replace the TXV because it was pumping down from initial start up. Once the TXV had been replaced, the system started running as it should. Over the course of the evening the customer called back and informed us that the system was not running and it was 90° in the house. arrive the next morning to find that the systems compressor had shorted the ground. Completely unacceptable transition to the new refrigerant in the industry in which they’re forcing us to adapt to these new standards and the quality isn’t there to match. Let me know your thoughts down below.
