I have recently, in the past two months, had to end a friendship that had lasted many years. The subject in question as become argumentative and, at times, arbitrary for no good reason. It was not that he was jumping up and down in anger, but that he was always edgy and over opinionated. I walked away because my quality of life is not on the table of sacrifice for someone who values their negative attitude over civility and friendship. Was it hard to walk away? Not at all. From what I hear, he says it is all my fault. I am now free and back to enjoying my life again.

Several points are 100% for me. Going out by myself and doing things, again, by myself has been something that I've endured all of my life. As a kid, I'd tell my mom that I was going to go hike around the desert (of southern Idaho) and we'd be (my dog and I) home by dinner time. It's what I did. And it's what I still do.😊😊😊

When I walk away my conscience is clear. I feel no guilt, I know I have done my best. What amazes me is why don't you understand that I understand?
