Classic….I love it!!!!
ОтветитьI really enjoy hearing your voice and thoughts while watching you work. Thanks for all your efforts!
ОтветитьHermoso ❤
ОтветитьThis is the furniture build I've been waiting for years to see. I LOVE the idea of building an entirely new piece from old broken pieces of furniture. I am so thrilled to see that you identified the contributing components. I hope that you will do this again soon. It demonstrates your talent, imagination and understanding of the art of furniture. Thanks! I'll be watching for more.
ОтветитьI love this. It's beautiful, functional and makes use of resources that would otherwise have been discarded.
ОтветитьReally great project Barry❤thanks so much for
ОтветитьUnique and beautiful! Loved watching this come together.
ОтветитьI’ve just discovered your channel. I want to be you when I grow up!
ОтветитьSo beautiful! There's something about apothecary cabinets that draws me in like a magnet but I don't know what it is (yet) =. Maybe my affinity for organized storage or maybe they remind me of the old library card catalogs I loved to browse through to find books I'd like to borrow. This was inspirational - thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьNice Ash. 🤣
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGorgeous finish ❤
ОтветитьI really like this piece. I like how you pay respects to the original pieces and created something useful and beautiful. What a wonderful way to give this new life.
ОтветитьIt all blended well together..furniture fushion at his best👊
ОтветитьI can't begin to put into words how much I love this project!
ОтветитьI would have dismantled it outside. That way if there were any issues, they’d stay out there.
ОтветитьOh! It’s lovely.
ОтветитьThe printers cabinet is worth a LOT of money. More than your most expensive tool.
ОтветитьBeautiful work! I love the videos and thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI love everything about this cabinet! I love little drawers and have too many of them😂. You are so talented to be able to fashion a cabinet around them!❤
ОтветитьWhat a stunning piece of furniture! ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьYour calm voice always wins me over from all other videos
ОтветитьStunning! I truly envy your talent, and your workspace. With a postage stamp garden, your videos are the escape i cannot have, but your furniture is beautiful Barry!
ОтветитьLOVE!! Just gorgeous. Should you ever decide to sell it… 😇
ОтветитьMy wife said, “Are you going to watch those building videos for four months?” (We switch locations in winter.). lol. “They look the same.” I was trying to explain and she started watching and I think is now hooked. So we’re watching this instead of walking on the beach. Your videos contains such artistry while at the same time they are so artistic. Bravo!
ОтветитьI think those receipts were from the early 1970s, one is from Kroger’s and those prices are about the same as those my early married life. A small chuck roast could be purchased for around $1.66.
I splurged on one recently that was $32.00. 😢
Love this Frankencabinet!
ОтветитьI LOVE the color of that honey stain with the black wax. The mismatched drawers, pieces of wood, and handles are something that we antique lovers can really appreciate. Knowing that you saved the furniture while it was on its way to the morgue is such a relief and so satisfying.
I couldn't love this channel more. I was only disappointed in one thing - I thought maybe we were going to get to see your dad. 😢
Your videos are works of art.
ОтветитьYou’re almost to 100k subscribers and the silver play, congrats!
ОтветитьThe receipts scream 60’s or 70’s to me. The meat prices if they were chicken would tend to point in that direction.
ОтветитьI absolutely love this sort of thing—using old parts and creating something new! It's one of my favorite episodes. Thank you.
ОтветитьWow! So beautiful!
ОтветитьBeautiful! I have a sewing machine that was my husbands grandmothers. It's not in great shape, and I want to take it apart and use the drawers! I never thought of using the base as a housing for the drawer that I would rebuild! Brilliant!
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful and fascinating ❤
Ответить@MadCityModern Well look at you coming up on 1 million subscribers! Congratulations Barry!
I really like the mix and match. It's great to use up leftover pieces to make room for new to you stuff. Thanks for the lesson.
How would I make the criss-cross pattern on the smaller drawers please?
I have only just discovered your channel, and i love your work ethos and furniture designs!
We live in such a wasteful society, and it disturbs me to think what will become of it all?
Keep up the beautiful work. There should be more people like you in this world ❤
No tengo palabras..es un mueble con encanto que puede estar en cualquier casa,y sería el centro de atención. ❤

That is incredible. Everytime I watch one of your videos I so badly want to get in my shop and start working on things. It may just be time to clean it out and get started you are so inspiring Thank you for all the work you do
ОтветитьThat looks great Barry, the industrial look is just as cool as the mid century. I like the industrial look in grey washed finishes with metal accents like corner reinforcement brackets and castors. As I write this I'm staring across the street at my neighbors throwing out a large queen size headboard wondering what I can make with it, anyways your videos are great both for information and just relaxing while someone else does the hardwork of restoring life and beauty to forgotten objects for others to enjoy. Anyway, congratulations on your channels success. You certainly have put in the work for it.
ОтветитьI love it! You did such a nice job mixing all of these pieces together.
Ответить"Franken-furniture" in the most beautiful form. Absolutely amazing!
ОтветитьBeautiful job and I love the labels and everything you have done to this very wonderful and unique piece.
ОтветитьCongrats on 100k. Love your videos
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful Barry! I love your creativity…that honey color is gorgeous! What a great idea preserving some of the history in the new piece. You are just amazing & thoughtful in everything you do! Congratulations too! 🌺🦋
ОтветитьThis is soo cool! I want a jewelry box made like this!
ОтветитьWas that a tick???😮
ОтветитьOn the off chance I know something that you don't, a native tree species, Common Hackberry, "Celtis occidentalis," supplies a lumber that is very straight-grained, very white in color, and with SUPERIOR gluing properties, making it a highly suitable choice for furniture that will be covered with veneer. The tree is one with a bark that is so unusual that it can be identified easily even in the winter. If you're not already familiar with it, look it up, and when you see the bark, I'll bet you'll say "Oh, yeah, I've seen that tree!" When you stop learning new woodworking skills, it is time to stop working with wood.
ОтветитьBarry, that is a beautiful cabinet and using the Singer sewing machine base is pure genius. Thank you for sharing your skills and passion. 8)
