War and Peace (BBC miniseries 2016): Episode 1

War and Peace is an Epic novel by Leo Tolstoy that captures the lives of Russian aristocrats from the time period of 1805-1812. The novel captures the glitz and glamour of the aristocratic lives of Moscow and St Petersberg while giving compelling accounts of the Battles of Australitz, Smolensk and Borodino that changed the Russian lives forever.

With Paul Dano as Count Pierre Bezukov, Lily James as Countess Natasha Rostova and James Norton as Prince Andrei Bolkonsky, the six episode series captures the cinematic details of Tolstoy's imaginative range with some very modern alterations
