I really like your videos Andy. Slowly building a fan base. I have the 6.0 in the one ton(2005) and opted to delete. Didn't really want to but I didn't want the hassle. I just kept everything in case i have to return it to stock.

Delete it or 12 valve swap it . 😂

While cleaning you can open up the valve using a popsicle stick or such so you can check/clean where you can’t reach otherwise and especially the seats.

I m thinking about buying an 06 f250 king ranch with 300,000 miles. The only work ever done was new injectors, vacuum pump and water pump hose. Not sure if this is or not . The truck was never bulletproofed or anything

Helpful tip... Try a product called Magic lube silicone based Red lube, if you have standard black o-rings the petroleum based lube like vaseline will actually cause your rubber gaskets to deteriorate.
On a high temp quality gasket vaseline is fine but I like the silicone lube

Found it odd at 130K no blow back at all, exhaust clean. Engine bolts, no studs, does have tuner to monitor vitals & Alliant injectors & power module plus after market fuel pressure management controller. Not DEF (2003). Thinking of taking the plunge on this one with some cash on the side (just in case). Noticed Ohio plates, I'm in NE Ohio. Thanks again Bro.

My 5ton has black smoke and no power. Anybody know if they have egr valve also? Or if it could be something else?

Bought my f350 new in 2003 and love it. 230k miles and it blows a little black cloud when accelerating. Might need to try this. Best 36k I ever spent

I’ve got the 2006 f350 6.0 King Ranch 178k.. bought it cash for 14k, they warrantied it for 500 miles, my engine light came on within 2 days. They said “bring in the shop” threw EGR valve clogging. He gave me a hard time about having to pay. Called the salesman and he got after the mechanics and got it done under the warranty. 3 weeks later it pops back up. Do you think they actually did the work? Or said they did it because they were salty? Idk. Maybe they cleared the code and called it good. How long should it last after it’s been cleaned or replaced?

Where can I buy the gaskets

Had EGR valve replaced by local business at around 65,000 miles on my '03 F350 lariat and check engine light returned after less than 5,000 miles. Took the EGR valve out myself when it failed smog check and found it installed with one bolt different head and no flat base gasket. Looks like an oil-fouled spark plug but valve moves. Could it be a sensor inside top?

Hey ive got 06 6.0 thats smoking white smoke like crazy. I bought tester to see if it was head gasket and it all points to egr valve. Liquid coming out of exhaust. Looks like oil but told its antifreeze. Oil still looks good. Motor was bulletproofed 10k ago no problems since but now this. I think i will delete it. I was wondering if i were to clean up egr like you did and replace o rings and gaskets could i run it till i delete it or will i damage motor. Love the truck except the rotted crossmembers. on bed. Hopefully hear back from ya soon.

I'm in the middle of changing my vacuum pump on my 6 l e series van, Vans are a different animal just to get the fan and stator out I had to pull a whole bunch of stuff, pull the intake elbow and I can see a big bulbous clump of soot on the egr valve gues ive got to change that now too.

2006 f250 got an egr valve code replaced it with a Ford unit as it has 90k miles 6.0 , and then diagnosed a bad MAF lol
