Either way if that is Greenie, I would be sooo happy to know my budgie is okay. I spent three hours trying to find Greenie, out in the middle of nowhere... Awesome job for your rescue!❤
I have more photos. The black dots on the side of greenies face matches what you found. Trying to upload the photo for you. Omg I hope this is Greenie happy and alive... 😊
Where was this? I had to leave NC on the way to Missouri when one of my babies got loose near Kentucky...???
ОтветитьI was a budgies owner of ten or fifteen years. I can tell you a few tips for looking after your beautiful bird. You can feed them some greens like spinach and lettuce. Fruit like apples. Now if you are near a beach look for cuttlefish that have washed up on the shore of beach as a cuttlefish helps with their beaks. Here is one more good tip to know the sex of your budgie it is to do with its nose or above it's beak which is called a cere which is oval shape. If the cere is blue than its a boy but if the cere is pink to brown its a girl.

ОтветитьBudgerigar is not in the UK
ОтветитьThat’s so sweet. A couple weeks ago I rescued a canary. We never found the owner and now we’ve adopted him.
ОтветитьA BUDGIE.
ОтветитьFake story that her own bird, she is the real owner
ОтветитьIt’s a Budgerigar
ОтветитьI found one too during my morning workout before work. It looked like my old bird who passed away a long time ago and it had a foot brace to show it was owned by someone. Unfortunately it can fly but when I finally caught it, a pissed off neighbor popped out, being angry I trespassed on her land. When I tried to explain the situation, she ended up kicking the bird out of my hands and into the street. The bird flew away and was most likely hit by a car later on. I never forgave myself for failing to save it.
ОтветитьIt’s called a Budgie bird iv had two of them and I think it’s a boy it’s beak looks blue on top if it’s a girl it will be pink on top it’s beak

ОтветитьBudgerigars are becoming very rare now.
From Australia were they fly in huge social flocks so they do need a companion.
Australian laws protect these Birds now.
