Excellent review mate! NCsoft burned me when they shut down Wildstar, one of the best, quirkiest and most fun MMO's of all time. Free to play not Pay 2 Win was basically the mantra there, but for some reason it just never took off. The original WoW development team made it, and there was care and love put into every single aspect and corner of the game. I'm not sure I can ever trust NCSoft again after that betrayal.

I’m late to the party but I’ll be trying this. There seems to be about 20% too many children for me but the little cutie-pie hovering doll with the high voice will probably be what stops me.

Wait ... My skill do not swap the weapon on it own . When I use Bow skill , it still at Sword on my basic . How can he do that?

You haven't said a word about the auction, but that's what already makes the game p2w right now. Absolutely all purple equipment can be bought at the auction and the auction works not for in-game, but for real money.

Everyone has there own deal breakers , mine is Paimon . No way I'm subjecting myself to that .

I tired playing it. Ugh, the UI is SO confusing, with way too many systems. Why do eastern MMOs do this?
It's all just busy work. I got stuck on a quest that does not update. logged out.

I've defeat caves of desp final boss on my first try ever without knowing mechanic and I was only lvl 42 half blue, half green gear so I'm just guessing I'm doing something right hehe. Plus I was the one of three that survived untill boss were killed as other 3 players died. Got it rec aswell on me yt. You can check it out.

Don't buy anything from this game it'll screw you over. This game is a scam company game. Don't buy the battle pass or level battle pass This game is going to delete your character or it won't let you load your character into the sever, and you won't have enough time to do the battle pass devs are lazy people that don't fixed anything on this game I am saving you time, money and stress It's a fun game until your character can't load into sever or gets deleted and remember you can't get your money back

I didn't have time to watch the whole video, but I have a question. How p2w is the game? What makes it pay to win? Because pay to win means that if you buy something from the shop that makes you stronger, and f2p player can't buy that but only with real money.

I can't get the game to load up through Steam. The whale logo uploads, but then nothing happens. Is there any way around this?

I tried it in the open beta and just didn't feel like it did anything new or interesting enough to really grab me. I got to a little bit past level 10. I'm kind of in my Monk era right now, so I didn't appreciate that they didn't have any kind of First weapon. A Spear would be cool too (don't think they had that).

I did like the no loading and, actually, really liked the UI design! (The aesthetic, not like.....how many menus there were, or that the battle pass is literally baked into the interface lol)

Wasn't a fan of the Amitoi; it felt totally out of place design-wise. Like, why was this here? Narratively, artistically, mechanically? Why was this spirit a yarn doll? It was also very "Korean game character to appeal to cuteness as a checklist requirement" in this medieval setting, so it was just really jarring lol.

All the MMO channels I followed who did play past lv 10 revealed how you can kind of screw yourself if you don't commit to a weapon and I was like. mmm better not. I don't typically care for the gear treadmill. The story as far as I experienced wasn't particularly engaging, half the time I was confused why my character was doing any of the things they were doing lol; like, what motivation was there; he was just kind of going point to point as directed? I know thats what you do in every game, but it just felt more prominent in this? maybe I was over-thinking it XD

All that being said, I do want to play it some more, give it more of a fair shake; this open world super dungeons sounds AMAZING, even with the pvp at night thing. I would be playing it now with everyone but Im knee deep in this personal project where I'm trying to replicate FFXI's combat (yes the one from 2002) in Unreal Engine, but I'm not a programmer, so I'm having a time of it.
