That being said, for all the guns out there, our crime statistics are pretty low in comparison.
Think about it, 80 million guns owned, 27,000 (minus 10,000 suicides) gun deaths. More people die in car accidents, and more kids die at the hands of a relative.
We cannot legislate morality, we cannot stop crazy people and they will always exist. But we can stop the fear mongering. The dems use it to subjugate us and teach us how to give up first our guns, then it will be something else.
