Pop and Zorin are really great. Zorin Lite is perfect to bring modern smooth is experience on old laptops. I use it on my 2008 HP probook and it works like a charm.
The title is kinda clickbait tho. There is nothing 2021 on these distros lol

sadly pop os doesn't have regional mirror so the update's download speed is unbearably low

I can't use any of them been trying everything but can't get my tv to mirror my laptop right so top bottom and sides are all only partly on the screen that's a deal breaker for me

Pop os is literally amazing, for Nvidia users it's nothing short of a boon. Everything is extremely streamlined from driver updates to cuda/cudnn download. The only thing you have to do is set a path in .bashrc and cuda/cudnn are available from the start. I had go through a lot of hassle in ubuntu for driver updates and then taking care of different cuda verion. In pop os! I can literally forget about it. 🔥❤️

Just installed Pop!_OS and I'm loving it. ❤

Zorin is beautiful and fast but I had two issues from the past couple days.

1. I have a dual monitor setup (ultrawide and 4K) and every time I turned them off and turn them back on the task bar at the bottom would go tiny and move to the top. Going to the settings wouldn't fix it until next reboot.

2) Steam would always drop downloads for games after 10 seconds of downloading. I would have to baby sit and hit the download now over and over to keep on downloading.

Swapping over to Mint fixed these issues.

I cant decide between fedora 34, feren and zeren... or neon. Idk they all look amazing. New to linux. I code for a living though should catch on quick. Just today I was like mmm I’m kinda tired of windows and I havent tried linux since I was 12! What a long way they’ve come in 18 years.

Did you see the Thunderbird? Soon as you sign into it, you're tracked. Same with any other apps you find in that OS. How about slowness? Tor browser has had issue with speeding thing up for a long time (it's just terribly slow), and this TailOS thing is basically Tor Browser. Just to hide your web identity, why trouble all the way down to south of Chicago? Just use a VPN lol. Would you need me to name a free VPN just to surf the web?

I started using Linux Mint right before XP went dark and never looked back ,its been my main driver ever since and has never given me any issues.

Thanks for the video. I just d/l'ed Zorin a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised that it made the list. Zorin has ungoogled-Chromium in its package manager, plus other browsers, and the swap file is enabled by default (can see it working in top or htop). I like the retro Windows 7 looking UI. I know where all my running apps are... Everything is great so far in Zorin.

Dose it support flashing of phones n does it have device manager?

No Elementary OS? Its probably the best ubuntu distro out there

Which makes it lil bit better.
