How would you add in some sourdough starter to make the bread a touch tangy?
ОтветитьAnyone think you could make this into something savory? I’m feeling sausage and sage and feta or something f? Tips?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI always look forward to your videos, Chef John! You truly taught me how to cook, and I owe so much of my success in the kitchen to you. Before discovering your channel, I struggled to follow recipes and often ended up with disappointing results. But through your transparency, humor, and those reassuring reminders that there’s no single “perfect” outcome, you gave me the confidence to experiment and cook with joy. Thank you for making cooking approachable and fun 😊
ОтветитьDear Chef John, I love your recipes, but please, please, in the name of europe and 85% of the worlds population: use the metrical system! It is confusing and tiresome for us to convert all the cups, teaspoons, pounds etc to an understandable amount.
All my best wishes
Thank you!
great video as always Chef John!
ОтветитьChef John confirmed to be a monster who bathes in 100°C water :/
ОтветитьChef John, Great job as usual my friend. This being made tomorrow.
ОтветитьMy culinary school bread teacher told us to scrape everything out, add a smear of oil and add it back in the same bowl, because why make more dishes. So, I think you're good.
ОтветитьI haven’t baked in half a lifetime but I’m going to make this.
ОтветитьDough is very similar to that for a Swedish cardamon eggnog wreath. In fact I think I’ll use that dough and construct it this way.
ОтветитьHow beautiful- what a work of art!
ОтветитьSomeone's been watching a certain British baking compilation. 😀
ОтветитьI did this with pesto filling and puff pastry instead of bread dough. It was perfect!
ОтветитьThis star bread will make any supper even more special. The presentation is impeccable and the taste must be wonderful. Thanks for sharing! ✨🍞
ОтветитьWhy do you sound like that lol
ОтветитьHello John
Could you please remove the automatic translation of the video? I want to hear your voice and not an awful Italian speaking robot. Thanks
I am so making this as gifts. I made Cranberry butter a few weeks ago that I will add a thin layer of before the fruits & nuts. Thanks!
Ответить🙏🏾❤ we love you, Chef John. Happy Christmas ❤
ОтветитьJohn, I have been watching your videos since like 2012 and I have to say, your rhymes that you come up with for filming are fantastic-as well as everything you make!
Thank you for the instructions throughout the years, laughs, and helping me impress my relatives and co-workers with your recipes.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas & and even Happier New Year.
Looks very tasty, I hope i get an opportunity to make it!
ОтветитьI started following your blog in late 2000’s. I was in my 20’s, now 40’s. Love your humor and recipes. I learnt cooking from your blog and videos. Thanks.
Ответитьcannot express how happy i am to have randomly remembered this channel from when i was a kid in primary school + the content is still just as consistent
ОтветитьIf you add ctispy bacon instead of almonds...forget about it.
ОтветитьYou are after all the doughy Anna Pavlova of bready supernova
ОтветитьI make this with cranberry orange jam between the layers. It is so pretty and tasty too. I’m going to try yours next.
ОтветитьMy first try will look like a nude beach.
ОтветитьA delightful holiday star-shaped bread that's perfect for festive occasions!
ОтветитьFunny… this looks exactly like a British Baking Show episode we just watched!
ОтветитьI like your recipes but I can not for some reason tolerate your cadence of how you speak - I just can't
ОтветитьI really want to try it. What cardamom you used black or green?
ОтветитьChristmas star bread.
ОтветитьI love when Chef John uses the freakishly large shower cap to cover the dough :)
ОтветитьI put chocolate chips in mine!
ОтветитьBecause you are the Rosanne Bar of your Holiday Star😂
ОтветитьSkip the sugar and use feta & chopped spinach, dill and cream cheese mixture for brunch…
ОтветитьI think this would be amazing with a chocolate filling…!!
ОтветитьDid Chef John watch this years Great British Bake Off Christmas episode :)
ОтветитьProbably good, not to fill to edge. It allowed for neater bread tips.
ОтветитьI'd bet this would be good decorated with Swedish pearl sugar.
ОтветитьThat looks delicious! Now, how am I going to screw this one up. I always find a way.
ОтветитьGreat ones make it look so easy.
ОтветитьThank you Chef John, I have seen this recipe a few times but wasn't sure I wanted to make it until this video 🌟
ОтветитьI bet this would be delicious with little pieces of apple in place of or with the raisins, etc.
ОтветитьI am thinking a smoked turkey, swiss cheese/cream cheese herb mix and cranberry chutney bread!
ОтветитьDelicious!! ❤
Ответить❤ AWESOMENESS! ❤
ОтветитьI made a version of this also exactly once, using Nutella as the filling. So delicious and beautiful!
