Meet Extreme Switching - Episode 1

Extreme Network has its origins in networking switches and in this episode, we go back to switch basics.

We then talk about the Operating System that runs on our switches, and in this series, it’s all about EXOS / Switch Engine followed by an explanation of Universal hardware.

Network Engineers often talk about networks by using terms such as ‘layers’, ‘Edge layer’, ‘Aggregation layer’ and ‘Core’. These concepts are explained and illustrated on screen.

Finally, we look at a 360-degree view of switches to help identify and become familiar with an Extreme Switch
