I live less than 10 min from Deception Pass and it still blows my mind how beautiful it is!

Very beautiful .I live in the mountains and every weekend I feel trapped at home from all the people coming up it is good to see people getting out but I beg of you all to be polite. Respect the forest .don't trash the place ,don't park half in the road find another parking spot .if an ambulance is trying to go up the highway it is not a good time to cross it .fire danger is real bears are evrywair and the rivers and lakes are fed by snow melt .be safe we have many deaths up here almost every weekend. Thair are lots of places to go and see the beauty of the great state of Washington so have fun get out but most of all be smart and be safe and come prepared and most of all do not leave your toilet paper in the woods it is grose and in sanitary .if you pack it in pack it out ,at least dig a hole and bury it far off trail and 100 yards from any watter creek lake or river .thanks and enjoy onceagain be safe
