jilebi ingredients
urad dal/ black gram 1 cup
Corn flour 2 teaspoons
sugar 1 cup
oil /ghee for deep frying
rose essence 3-4 drops
lemon juice 1 teaspoon
permitted food colour 2 pinches
Method
wash and soak urad dal for 4 hours
grind into smooth paste
add cornflour and red colour in it... mix well
fill the mix in a piping bag
sugar syrup
add 1 and 1/4 cup water into 1cup sugar and boil till reach one string consistency
add rose essence and lemon juice
heat oil for frying jilebi
make jilebi as shown in video on a low flame.. then dip in sugar syrup for 3minutes
enjoy indian traditional sweet jilebi also known as jangri or jalebi
