What about any exercising? Do I need to worry about net calories? So, if I eat 1400 calories, and exercise and burn 300 calories, my net calories are 1100. Is this a thing? Or do I need to ignore?

ОтветитьReally fantastic video, super helpful. I have been using MFL for years and am now reviewing with my wife for use as a diet app instead of WW or in conjunction with WW. It would seem that there is just as much good support in the MFP community section as WW? Never used it. I do like the "weight the deficits" comments. What affordable scales can you recommend that would work for this? Also, I noticed as an aside that the app has been posting all my bike rides under "kcaravelli2" which is weird. I never set that up. We can't afford two people on MFP so we use one premium account and I'm considering getting a second "free " account.. The Premium account is able to use the bar scanner feature for foods so that might work. No family plan? weird. Ok, I'm done ranting...great video.

ОтветитьMy fitness pal wanted me to eat 1500 calories and I was like I’m going to starve! So I adjusted to 1800 calories and did a 30/35/35 and I lost 26 pounds/ 12kg in 2 months in a half. I’m hoping to lose 20kg now.

ОтветитьOne thing that I don't see mentioned as a con for MFP in any review is that your data is completely locked in. There is NO WAY to get food history at a detail level out of the app. All of the export functionality even at a premium level is summary at the macro nutrient level. If you ever want to do any real analysis on what you have eaten you are out of luck. Curious how regularly you eat red meet? How many alcoholic drinks you really have had? How often you have a sugary treat for desert? To bad. MFP intentionally keeps this information from you. What if you want to leverage all the new AI chatbots to do a deep dive into your eating patterns? Ya, too bad there too. I can't believe this isn't talked about more.
