Today's bento: Fried rice. shrimp, fruit, and kimchi dumplings
(with a side of the New Space Jam with Lebron James...while editing this)🎶👀🤣
#spacejamnewlegacy surprisingly I liked it mainly for all the tune throwbacks.
Frozen Dumplings (steam for 14 minutes)
Fried rice ( I do this a few different ways with or with out the Japanese mayo):
Soy Sauce
Japanese Mayo (or not)
Eel sauce (or not)
Sesame Oil (or not)
Onion
Zucchini
Carrot
Cooked brown rice
TIP: When making fried rice, always use rice that is cooled down and not hot. Most people use rice that is leftover from the night before. The chilled or cooled rice cooks up great!
For the eggs (in the fried rice)
4 eggs
-Separate yolk and whites
-Mix yolks and add/mix into rice
-Cook the rest of your items for the fried rice
-Add the rice
-Add the egg whites
Shrimp:
Teriyaki sauce
Crushed Korean red pepper
Minced garlic
Sesame seeds
Fruit:
I simply chop any fruit I am using up. Whatever is on sale and in season. No need to add sugar as the natural sugar is enough. I tend to make a fruit mix on Monday and it lasts until Thursday. I make another batch the gets me to Saturday.
I am slowly learning my new video editing plus Mr. Business is a great helper! Excited as some new items came from Amazon today! Saturday brings one more bento for the week.
