Hey all, this is all based around a completely stock bike - I have also tried it with a lot of changes (Fox 38 170, Coil, different bars, stem, wheels and tyres!! Which is like changing almost everything on the bike! But, those changes do make it massively different and much, much more capable (but its far far from the stock bike that is being sold, so didnt want to include those changes in this video).
The biggest thing to change is the stock stem (its a bit too lightweight and flexy, and probably the bars, then the fork (170mm works great, Zeb of 38).
The perfect way to Spy the woods and get all the info do Mapping. Places where drones cant fly without DC.
ОтветитьIt's amazing how good this bike is for their first attempt
Ответитьany word on actually releasing the bike, only ones I have seen are demo's, and def none here in the states. pipedream????
ОтветитьWhat gloves are you using?
ОтветитьHaving the thighly edited demo vids scenes in 'fast motion' to me, is deceptive, and makes this viewer uneasy about the reviewers credibility. One wonders what booboo's he left out.
ОтветитьIt s an excellent bike...but i think the problem is...too expensive! U can buy a good car with those money...i really love this bike..but...
ОтветитьHi Rob , can you do a video on the Amflow beefed up version that you have built 🤟
ОтветитьWait this year for Forbidden announce the Dreadnought or Druid with the DJI motor. You'll have your bike that fits this motor, guaranteed.
ОтветитьTime to sell my kidney for £9000
ОтветитьI agree to be the first interested in an enduro version of this engine/bike: mullet, 38 fork and magura or maven brakes. Actually is too much power for a mere trail bike.
Ответитьlooks asome, but Im poor and live in México and I could probably buy a small house for the same price as this bike
ОтветитьWhat is the price for it? Website doesn’t show any…
ОтветитьBeing able to climb like that with your saddle down, tells me enough, it's not cycling is it, just off road electric motor biking, but gently rotating pedals, rather than twisting a throttle.
Not for me, thanks!
As an E- Bike specialist, it really is important that you always use the terms: Watt and Watt-Hour as appropriate.
Please don't shortcut. It can cause confusion.
Hi. How tall are you? and which size of bike did you test? Thx for info
ОтветитьI never use Race mode on the Bosch Race motor (Crestline) it's just too much...definitely don't need more...this thing sounds a bit noisy
Ответитьof course it`s hype
ОтветитьI can't decide between base model and the pro. Is the difference worth it. Can you tell the difference when riding it between the models. What worries me is cassette and chain wear with such high torque. Do you think on pro model this will be significantly less due to higher quality and stronger chain. Is suspension on pro noticeably better than cheaper model.
ОтветитьWhy have it speed restricted if your only riding off road ?
ОтветитьUk laws mean max motor wattage on the road is 250, so this bike would actually be illegal to ride at 1000w??
ОтветитьStill waiting for this to come out in the US...
ОтветитьIs it only me, but what is this strange crackly sound this bike was making on steep climbs?
ОтветитьRob, I think everyone wants to know…. Does the motor rattle.? Downhill
ОтветитьI believe mountain bikes are generally moving towards being lighter, and Amflow's frame is strong enough to handle this motor. This combo offers more agile handling, which is especially noticeable during climbs or long rides. But since it's the first generation, I hope Amflow will have more models to meet different needs in the future.
ОтветитьThanks a ton for the detailed review! Riding a bike is a very individual thing, and each person has their own style and likes. Amflow is designed for all mountain, and its frame geometry reflects that. After trying out a few mountain bikes, I feel like this one's geometry really suits my riding needs. Can't wait to see what Amflow enduro model has to offer!
Ответитьi bet once it becomes wayyy too successful the west is gonna ban it due to "national security" .... cuz DJI is Chinese
ОтветитьGet the impression the bikes geo will make more sense with a bit of extra weight strapped to the frame.
I'n particular, tools, water, tube and some snacks/clothes in a handlebar roll.
DJI = made in china 🇨🇳
What is china known for copying other companies products….
Hype. If power and accellaration was everything, the SUV were not such a "successfull" product
ОтветитьThat motor makes my noisy whiny Bosch CX seem crap. Which it is. Hard to cycle with both fingers in my ears.
ОтветитьImagine being able to get this motor from DJI and put it in the frame of your choice, like you can with almost any component on a bike. I’m waiting for that before I get any eMTB.
ОтветитьAll these little gadgets yet I’d swap them all for a reliable motor they should put more effort into making bomb proof motors, all this tech and a little bit of water kills it! In 2025 with all the tech we have it’s embarrassing
ОтветитьIt's no doubt an amazing bike and if you have the budget then it's likely a 'no brainer' 😊
For me - buying 2 of these, one for me (800Wh) and other for son (600Wh), would price up to around £17.8k 😬🤯
I got 2x brand new Trek Rails last year for less than £7.5k, which yes, are heaver and slightly older tech, but £10k buys a LOT of bike trips and some holidays abroad thrown in too.
I use Eco and turbo and nothing in between. I only use Turbo when climbing hills that are too steep for Eco. I clean an oil my chain after every single ride with an ultrasonic cleaner but I got fed up with the FAF of the cable stretching for the shifter And then if you knock you the radio it goes out of alignment or even snaps and then back to square one. If this was replaced with a belt from it just last forever I don’t have the oil. It and maintenance is bare minimal.
ОтветитьWith you on that. Looks uncomfortable with seat drop down. Loose a lot of power
Ответитьso how is 800w legal? I thought the UK limit was 250W
ОтветитьTouchscreen?Remote is nice but - ViewAngle - you look down and hit the the next tree. It has so much power - but honest question, did you miss power until now? I own Bosch CX only, but until now, i find it very powerful - evne more than 110kg weight - I do drive Enduro Motorbikes - up to 150 horsepower ;) more road endure und one cylinder full motocross... it should be a an eBIKE not a MOTORbike for me... I miss things at my current bosch bike - but in generell... i am fine with what is there and do not really see a real revolution...
ОтветитьIt makes me wonder how they get the extra power and torque as electric motors have been around for ever so the sustainable outputs would be well know , DJI either have some recently discovered engineering or are going to burn out quick and other manufacturers know this and tune for longevity and reliability.
ОтветитьThis list would be wild
- DJI Avinox
- 800wh+ battery
- high pivot
- belt drive
- MX wheels
- 180 front, 170-180 rear
- 45lbs
- carbon
- Less than $6,000
Funny how these UK creators don't talk about it actually being illegal in the UK, and Europe in general. Shows how US focused their content is.
ОтветитьBuild your own ebike . better value, charging usb ports and lots of options .
ОтветитьIts limited to 25kmh :/ and price 8999 GBP makes that are too expensive :)
ОтветитьI wonder how many years it will be before the electronics parts are no longer replaceable? Eg can i replace the bluetooth switches (or touch screen etc) after, say, 4 years? Or will there be a suitable newer, compatible part from the then current model? Or perhaps it will be like the iphone where software updates stop and youre forced to buy new again...
ОтветитьI’d be curious as to how the power feels compared to the Dyname motor used on Rocky Mountains. I’ve rode the newest from Shimano and Bosch and the Dyname has noticeably more power.
ОтветитьMy knees hurt watching you climb with your seat so low.
Ответить
