Discord basic does not give you gif profile pictures I just bought it for that reason and it does not work which is stupid I don't want to spend 9.99 a month just for a gif profile picture. :(

Depends on how much time you use discord. If you're a normie and not addicted yet, you shouldn't really get nitro but if you're already hooked and spend hours on discord, I think nitro is just gonna make your addiction worse.

My freshman year of high school I got my first year and bought it for a year loved it as I’ve gotten older I only use it to call with my friends but every now and then I will find myself on discord for weeks so It depends how much you use it
