I vehemently disagree that animals are “dumb.” Pandas 🐼 are carnivorous yet they chose to be vegetarians 🌱 and that it took about 6 to 7 million years to evolve to successfully have the ability to have a 99% herbivorous diet. That’s impressive. The pandas 🐼 are noble animals that chose to be vegetarians despite having a carnivorous digestive system. Talk about probiotics being crucial to life! Pseudomonas fluorescens, where did this bacteria 🦠 come from? I agree with the other comments stating that the restrictive reproduction of pandas 🐼 is their way to control overpopulation. We don’t know the landscape of 🐼 panda’s habitat 6 million years ago. And look 👀 at the human population. We are 8.2 billion. The planet 🌎 can only sustain 9 billion humans according to oceanographers. As Earth’s oceans 🌊 provide food for three billion people. Oceans 🌊 provide 2% of the total food for humans. And oceans 🌊 provide 50% of Earth’s oxygen. We cannot destroy our oceans biodiversity. We die when oceans are deserts 🏜️. For those reasons, 🐼 pandas are noble creatures. And I’m sure koalas 🐨 are noble creatures as well surviving on eucalyptus trees 🌳.

you seem to have a profound misunderstanding of evolution. nothing evolves for any reason besides the fact that it can. if a species manages to survive, it doesn't matter how. It does, so it is a success. evolution does not make mistakes. it makes diversity. basically what i am seeing in your video is a beautiful story about how a species adapted to a very specific niche. yet you keep constantly judging it as if it was something that warrants comparison and silly human assumptions of right and wrong.

They are perfectly adapted, but that’s because they fully exploited the montane bamboo forests before they were all cut down…they have no predators and little competition, they only really need basic survival instincts and make sure they don’t overpopulate. Specialist species exist everywhere, stop treating them as unique, “useless” animals…animals don’t exist to serve. one of the many cave beetles can be gone and nothing will change, and that’s okay. I would suggest changing the name “real science” to “science but I apply my human ideals”.
