I’ve had it for 4 days how do I treat it.

Dear Dr. I have been in hospital 10x in the the past 10 years. I had an attach 6 months ago. I am definitely busy with one right now. I have been to my Gp.. has taken 4x times antibiotics for it in the passed year.. whilst Taking the antibiotics... it seems to be OK but re-occur again in day 10 days. I have been admitted in hospitals as I need an IV and only then it seem to help. Why does it keep on re-occuring? I have had a bladder lift (pigskin) about 8 years ago. The dr said it would stop but it hasn't. I will definitely have to go and see my GP this week again and ask him to check for e-coli. One of my symptoms are that I don't urinate well. Can you perhaps advice? It feels to me that this ecoli wants to kill me.

Why do we use ampicillin antibiotics, i through that ampicillin affects the proteins within the peptidoglycan region. Since E.coli is gram negative, doesn’t this mean that they don’t have a large peptidoglycan region?
