also this is a developement possible on the not killing more minions that after luke jumped on the abiss. vader didnt care to kill the last guy, he just was thinking about luke. so maybe here vader is sayng that because he is not killing anymore. of course, for the trops it doesnt matter, they think he maybe will, and that is enough
