what is the album ?

Ok, I know Mortician often tunes to G standard. Anyone know how they accomplish this? What kind of strings do they use? Is the guitar an ordinary six string? Etc... I love playing Mortician on my guitar, but when I tune my ordinary six string (with ordinary six string strings) down to G, it goes out of tune before I’m done playing the first song. Dig? Any help?
