I watched this debate when it happened and it was jaw dropping, and foot stomping! Why? The truth
was being revealed by HaShem through the mouth of our own dear Rabbi Mizrachi! It was not due to

This xtian professor's answers are pathetic & even antisemitic. Even in the new testament there is the oral law. In the gospels or Acts it says they walked a Sabbath days journey. What is a Sabbath days journey? Its in the oral law.

The new covenant mentioned in Jeremiah refers to the covenant of the same laws (613 out of which 10 are core) with the House of Judah (semi-religious Jews) and the House of Israel (Modern and Ultra Orthodox). The only difference is that unlike the old covenant, where Jews taught the laws to each other which is not perfect, G-d will teach the laws directly to each Jew.
