I'm not sure, but I think Avery Schreiber materialized out of nothing in 1970 and disappeared without a trace as soon as the decade ended.

Remember those from the early 80s, they were pretty dang good..

I hope maybe Doritos might bring back the Sour Cream & Onion flavor someday.

Doritos in the 1980s were incredible. My favorite were sour cream and onion and taco flavor. They changed the formula and they don't taste the same today.

back in the 70s my fave go to sour cream and onion chips was the granny goose sour cream and onion chips now sadly defunct since a decade ago.

I wish theyd bring back the old Cool Ranch flavor before they ruined it in the 90s. The chips used to be completely covered in the flavoring, a lot of times front and back. And the ranch flavor had red and green (blue?) flecks in it so it was really super visible. The ranch flavor went from a 10 down to like a 3 when they changed the recipe. But at least now they arent enjoyable enough to eat too many.

I ate an entire bag of these one Saturday morning watching cartoons back in the 1970s. They were good.

Please for the love of God bring these back. I totally miss them from the late '70s and early '80s. I ate these and thoroughly enjoyed them. Better than any other dorito flavor to this day. And I'm sorry. Ranch does not even come close to this sour cream and onion heavenly flavor
