Lovely. I've looked but can't find your dimensions for the Quilty Hug quilts. Is there a specific size?
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьAll of your little quilts are beautiful. You gave us some wonderful ideas and instructions.. Thank you.
Ответить♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьWhen you do a pinwheel block, how do you get a flat center? Mine are always a pokey mess. I’m talking about getting all those points together at the center in case anybody’s new!
ОтветитьTimely and THANK YOU!!! For some odd reason I always get turned inside out when trying to square up (and I learned to quilt in 1999 but don’t do it consistently…that’s probably why 😂). Love your tutorials 🥰🥰
ОтветитьI keep all HST that I can do with leftover from building a block. I do some with other piece left over like the little triangle from joint in binding. I square them to the nearest 1/4 inch and sort them by size. I’m doing this since years and I have a bunch of them now from 1 inch to 4 inches. Eventually I will do a project with them, I have already wrote down idea of design.
ОтветитьMabel!! You Tube listens to everything I say; I really have to stop talking out loud to myself while sewing.
This time YT got it so right. I've been collecting 4inch triangles from a sstitch and flip quilt. Beautiful blues. Flying geese, pinwheels, what to do?
Your video popped up and at once! Friendship stars! Yes❤
You have a lovely voice . A gentle energy, enjoyment, smiling expression and kindness flowing in all directions.
I had seen your exquisite wonky triangle quilt ages ago and have carried it's charm in my head, waiting for the day I could see myself tackling so many small blocks.
I'm old. I'd hate to start and leave before I'd completed such a gorgeous endeavour😅
Thank you, seriously, my day is made, you wonderful woman.
These are wonderful ideas! Half square triangles are so versatile. That is exactly what you proved! Thank you!
ОтветитьAnother fun and interesting video. Thank you! ⚘️
ОтветитьBuy a rotating mat also.

Beautiful!
ОтветитьLovely and truly beautiful. I see two favorites that I wish I had for myself! Hopefully the children are delighted and will take great comfort in these wonderful works of art. 💖
ОтветитьThank you, so beautiful
ОтветитьWowza! Amazing what you can do with triangle!!! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьTo make a 4.5" sq HST what do you cut your sqaures at? Could you use two layer cakes and make four and trip them to size?
ОтветитьNice 👍
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! I am new to quilting and even sewing altogether. I have been intimidated by anything other than squares. I’m making quilts for foster care kids for practice. Thanks for the inspiration!
ОтветитьI love your positive attitude. This is such a great idea with the triangles. I see that your boarders are different sizes. What are your measurements? I also have a form a dyslexia and struggle. You have given me several tips. I am so happy that I found your channel.
ОтветитьThis was soooooo fun to watch. And packed with bunches of inspiration. Thanks from Maine.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьThanks for this!! Join in Aprils Craft Room HST Challenge! (I’m just a subscriber that thinks it’s awesome)
ОтветитьLindos trabalhos ❤
ОтветитьGreat tips! This is a great watch. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love the ocean fabric 😍💙💚
ОтветитьJust love the idea to use up leftovers as well. Beautiful quilts. 🌻
ОтветитьWhat a great tutorial thank you!
ОтветитьWOW, I watch a lot of quilting videos, I mean A LOT. I am VERY impressed with this wonderful video. Lots of cute, easy stuff here!
Ответитьwhat size are hug quilts
ОтветитьLoved your confidence builder on squaring up..just wondering what size are you're finished kids quilts? They are all so kid cuddly!
ОтветитьA little tip… I put a small 3M hook in the middle of my smaller square 4/5 inch rulers (also my 6x1 and 12x1 inch rulers too actually)… it gives me a stable better hold on them and fingers are up high 🤗🤗🤗 (I also use a template grip sticker on the bottom as well so with both the hook on top and the grip on the bottom, I get way less movement and more control!)
I’m loving your videos! 🫶🫶🫶 Your enthusiasm is contagious, you’re so cute!
Thanks very creative.
ОтветитьI am new to quilting - what is the measuring tool called that was clear and you were cutting strips? It looked amazing. thank you - Also I wanted to add - what a special talent you have to gift children with a comfort quilt.
ОтветитьLove them all, my favorite is the one where the triangle blocks radiate from the center 4 patch with the light borders.
ОтветитьWhat size did you make them?
ОтветитьWhat do u mean by bonus Half Square Triangles? Are you saying they’re all in different sizes? Thank you.
ОтветитьA great inspiration. Thank you.
ОтветитьI love half square triangles I love what you did with all 😅quilts I would love to try the one that looks like a bunch of triangles around the world lol.❤🎉 I love the colors to.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьThanks for such an EXCELLENT Video, such fun, great variety in layouts, all terrific ideas!
ОтветитьLove this tutorial. Now I know what to do with my half square triangles. Thanks
ОтветитьGood job 👏 I really love it ,thank you for sharing ❤
ОтветитьLove, love, love that three-color baby quilt! Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьLove your quilts!
ОтветитьI love that you make the borders different widths between top/bottom vs sides. Adds a lot of interest when you change the scale of similar elements.
ОтветитьI discovered the little cutting mats at thhe Dollar (twenty-five) Tree which are now saving me lots of money on not buying a new large mat since i began using them to trim small patches & hsts. Plus, they are easy to turn or put on the rotating mat, which saves it as well.
I've now watched a few of your videos thanks to my friend Maggie. Many Blessings to you!
This is going to be watched many, many times. It's so fascinating to see the different patterns that show up as you fiddle with the pieces.
ОтветитьHello. I love your triangles. What size was the original fabric before sewing and cutting down? Example, where pieces 4 1/2 before putting together or what?
