Civil rights organizations call for federal investigation into Vancouver Police, Clark County Sherif

Criminal activity is unfortunately concentrated in BIPOC so the idea its going to be somehow evenly distributed across racial groups is nonsense especially in such a really small sample

Vancouver PD has been out of control for years. Under Mayor Anne Ogle it’s just gotten worse. There’s NO accountability. Time for reform. The people are tired of your tyranny

Extremely poor training, substandard hiring policies, and lack of accountability is the reason Vancouver has such a horrible police department. That will likely never change.

Vancouver pd is dirty as hell we need new judges and a new sheriff and a new police chief it is way over due for these changes

Black people are not being murdered in Clark county. Black men like Kevin Peterson and the Pacific Islanders are the ones committing MUCH of drug and trafficking crimes in this county. There is NO NEED for this type of federal investigation HOWEVER I’d love to see one done anyway so we can acquitt.

App this may be a year old but it doesn’t change the shady shit and the cover ups like when deputy Sean Boyle shot and killed Jenoah Donald provoked by deputy holly troupe he was unarmed and now he is gone and there are no repercussions for it if it was 2 normal people the shooter would’ve been arrested and they didn’t interview them til 5 days after he shot jenoah isn’t it supposed to be that they are interviewed right away because then everything is fresh in their minds

Vancouver has been corrupt for decades! New officers now are amateurs. They lie and they twist so much around! I report SA in 2021 and the chief of police found out the officer didn’t file my report! Had a meeting by phone n many other also were reported n investigated on other cases that involved me n my family. Im born n raised here! I wished made a difference in this state n town but that will never happen. I wished they picked better ppl n they have added more women which is amazing! I don’t dislike them not all are bad but some of the higher ranked guys need to do better in controlling their PD’s. You will always come across a jerk but again respect goes a long way both ways! I wished was apart of investigations unit or undercover but I’m disabled physically. I just hope one day they get a good amount of guys n girls to join n make a difference in our justice and crime rates here. I have children and a mother to care for in a broken community with crime around us. I can back the blue only to a certain degree depending on their character, some empathy where it is needed and compassion! Not just for their duty but for their community as well.
