I got too much light pollution lol

Bro i have captuered it on 26-27 oct from india and im telling you im the luckiest person on earth bcs in india rn (30oct) theres a festival called diwali & in which childern burst crackers and it creates pollution and in this time its cloudy af so i was in perfect condition for the comet and after gathering data of 2 nights i processed it and ITS BEAUTIFUL

You know what’s cool? The solar wind is the only reason that comets have tails, it’s stripping the ice off the surface in the form of gas. So the tail of the comet always points directly away from the sun.

To those who missed it - for next time (another comet not this one lol) i highly recommend using any old pair of binoculars. I used stellarium to find its location and although I saw absolutely nothing with my eye I was able to see with incredible detail using the binoculars.

I find it funny how comet 2024 S/1 went so close to the sun it just exploded
