Dr Teeth Meets Floyd from The Muppets Mayhem

Floyd Pepper's last name (and his original costume) was a tribute to the Beatles but his first name was an in-joke to Pink Floyd since his face is pink--therefore being a tribute to two bands.

Just watched the new series of the muppets mayhem band and when I watched this episode I felt bad for teeth

i kinda love how Teeth is portrayed. plus i am just in love with how long his arms are and how they use it. plus i diden't know Teeth was from the south, or well i just thought it was how he spoke but then again series confirmed it. But i guess in future seasons we could see other backstories of the band memebers, cause it might be worth a visit for Janice's backstory, since it could be she is sad on the inside but projects an aura of joy and tranquility because of her inner regrets since she really does do alot of stuff for the 2 sisters in the series and her way of conviceing them to forgive each other.

Seeing Floyd with a pornstache was not on my 2023 bingo card but here we are

Man, poor Dr. Teeth. Having family that don't support his dreams sucks. I'm an artist, and in my family, art is "boring and a waste of time" and I have an uncle who once called art "crap". I like Dr. Teeth as the piano playing, flamboyant guy he becomes when he chooses to not follow his parent's dreams.

Now, picture whatever sort of thing would have a name like 'Dr Mayhem And The Electric Teeth'. I'm thinking a Batman villain.

Floyd's good people, and we knew that. Still, it's lovely to see that he's always had a big accepting heart, and a lot of time and respect for other people (whether they're decent to him or not).

This takes an interesting direction, totally opposite from what I imagined. I'd always thought Dr. Teeth was older that Floyd and that perhaps the discovery had happened the other way 'round. I like this story, though.

Dr.Teeth father in the background just cracks me up. Awesome storytelling.

We just need that one guy to believe in us.

This show totally blew away my expectations. The first episode was ok, but it made me want to watch the next one which is where I think the show picks up a bit. Then, we get the "Floyd meets Animal" spot at the end of the third episode. I was done, then, I actually teared up a bit. And, that wasn't the last time the show got me all up in my feelings. The humor was so much better and more like the old Muppets, too. The desert scene was almost an homage to the one in The Muppet Movie. Lips had me dying with his mumble rap and pretty much every thing he said, Nobu. SAVE THE WORLD, LIPS! And good grief, the cameos. Even the newer celebs (like Kesha) still had funny as hell spots.

I wonder what gave Teeth the push to play the keys?

God i love how Teeth's glasses can make him switch between chill and wide eyed.

That part, where Teeth joins in, on harmonica, the way Floyd slowly looked up, it made me believe that he was thinking, "He GETS me...!"

I believe that Dr Teeth’s mother Tina is more of a controlling person than Dr Gerald Sr is. Dr Gerald just never spoke up for his rights and felt controlled by his wife. All he says is yup.

So Floyd is older than Dr. Teeth? All this time, I thought it was the other way around

I think there's a few things to critique Muppets Mayhem, but damn, if there's one thing that can't be denied, it's that the show's got heart. You can tell that when it came to the muppet characters themselves, so much care was put into really fleshing them out and evolving them, while still staying true to the characters.
