Have you considered audio books, which would solve year book supply problem on Svalbard? Or do you prefer to read physical books? I used to love to curl up with a good book, but my failing eyesight led me to switch to audio books. Admittedly it's not the same.

In America, in the town I live in, we have a group of people who buy books then we trade when done. We get to read a lot of books but buy only one 😊.

I’ve been watching this channel for a very long time, and this is the first time I have seen all of the buildings there. I didn’t realize there were so many shops and houses. I thought there were only the houses along the water, a grocery store, gym, and an indoor shop space where the clothing store Cecilia worked at.

We moan about it going dark at 5 pm here in the UK. Hard to imagine no sunlight at all for months! Do you all have light boxes to prevent seasonal affected depression disorder. Just realised that the population of Longyearbyen is less than on my last cruise ship! So sad that our visit was cancelled on our Princess cruise itinerary last year. Do the new regulations 2025 prevent all cruise ships visiting? How will that affect your economy. Losing tourism income along with mining ending will be very hard for the economy to deal with. 🫤

Aircraft land and takeoff into the wind. It gives them a shorter takeoff and landing because of lift over the wings. The cooler the air the more condensed the air is and improves both the combustion and lift. That's why our vehicles burn less fuel in cooler weather. More condensed Oxygen. If the vehicle is in well kept condition along with tires. When tires get low in cooler weather it may not be a leak. The air just condensed. Put the correct pressure in it for the season. We love you both.

Gym work does make a person feel so good afterwards physically and mentally so good on you.
When I see the village all light up at night it is so magical and could watch it for hours.
What is absolutely amazing is the Skye at night with stars and full moon which is so stunning and once again could watch that over and over again. Just makes a person feel so good and alive.😀

You need something like a Caliber Traxmat to laydown between your cabin and Truck. This material is for snowmobile traction, but it looks like you could use it to make a path. Then you would not slip and fall on ice - hopefully!
