Smaller private mints within the state will emerge and bring in rounds and other fine buillion to melt them down into 1gram, 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, and oz with their trusted mint marks. I dont see denominations being wery usefull as fluctuating values will make them irrelevant, but i see businesses with live tracking tickers similar to lotto tracking boards with the fractional prices of gold, silver, and goldbacks. Time will tell but very interesting times ahead

Coin shop Chris just posted a video about 90%constitutional being melted down.
This is a big problem since gold and silver is going to be legal tender next year.
Could it be a plan to intentionally erase american history in favor of CBDC?

Sounds conspiratory I know. Seems to me the best buy right now is to stack junk silver before it's melted down and gone for good.

That is one of the most important reasons I only get coinage for what is happening now but the department of weights and measures has a lot of work to do plus they need a exchange rate system

Only problem is Florida won't accept United States silver or gold coins of any kind. No weight and purity indicated on them. Apparently the United States mint is not reputable in the eyes of Florida.

This is a backhanded way to be anti-precious metal by forcing government regulation onto it as a means to devalue the existing supply and then process and certify new minting which meets a 'state' level standard.

Don't get me wrong, he said the right things, but the actual impact...

I hold the position that DeSantis is an intelligent version of Donald Trump, I was more concerned with him becoming President than Trump.

I don't have much faith in it. It is more or less they will criminalize it and seize gold from people that pay with gold that doesn't match it and keep it even when it is .99 purity and it should be .999 purity. Government will find a reason to take property if they can and this is something that they would do. Meatball Ron and his band of not so merry misfits.

does it really matter? bad money drives out good money. people are still going to pay their taxes with the shit paper ... because it's shit paper. they are not going to pay their taxes with real, honest money (gold & silver). they will save that for their future because it is a MUCH better store of value.

Nice idea but it's gonna be a fricken mess. Kids need pictures on the registers. You expect them to learn how to use and RXF and a scale? I could see large purchases like cars, boats or paying a Dr. or a Lawyer. But your not going to the grocery store with a pocket full of silver. I don't see it.

retailers take metals for payments. then the retailer deposits the metals in the bank that converts it to fiat so the retailer can pay payroll and bills. then the state buys the metals from the bank and holds it forever. that is what this game is about. The state filling their metal stacks without getting it directly out of your stack.

Junk Silver comes from the State and is legal tender and the weight and purity is well documented in the law and it is plentiful and recognizable so one would think when writing the rules this would be included and this isn't a complicated subject to explain or understand. Heck in the old days they literally had money changers in the Temple to work out this simple math problems and with the invention of the calculator (computer) each product for sale could to do money changing with the acceptable tender. Robots and self check outs might have an issue but who cares? We don't want those anyway.

How do we know if this is not actually a play by the government to get the metal away from the people to fill their own coffers? I don't hear anything about the government producing silver and gold coinage for circulation, only just making it ok or legal to USE it in trade for goods and services. It sounds good but something is at admiss here. And I don't trust the government. I think it is a step to get your metals away from you without you realizing your being robbed.🤔🤔🤔

XRF analyzers will have to become cheaper and prevalent. Individuals will also have to threaten big business with lawsuits about infringing on their constitutional rights to exchange real money. I don't believe in suing people but massive corpses like Walmart over constitutional money, hell yeah! Sign me up for that class action!

The biggest problem I see occurring if any states started minting gold or silver coin is that the Chinese will immediately counterfeit those coins. Anyone accepting such coins will need to have a sigma to confirm it is real coinage.
