There’s no they when it comes to a one wheel peel
ОтветитьI’ve heard a lot of shit about these tires only going 25k miles and dry cracking would anyone recommend them?
ОтветитьJust about to replace my Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5R20). They've lasted for 62K miles.... which is crazy. My Rocky Ridge Silverado has been full sent up test hill at Silver Lake over a dozen times, wheeled in the DBBB, and through some other really muddy trails in KY. Driven to work most the year and also towed a 28 ft camper on them. I'll definitely be installing another set, this time 37x12.5R17.
ОтветитьAs the video starts you compare Nitto with Toyo and guess what, they are under the same manufacturer and you are biased 😜
ОтветитьI have about 51,000 miles on mine and they are loud, going down the road.
ОтветитьJust put these on my RAM 1500 in 35/11.5" and I can't believe how quiet and plush they ride!
ОтветитьNothing says brodozer like a one wheel peel lol
ОтветитьI have these in 35-12.50x20’s on my Jeep Gladiator. Top off doors off, tires are quiet. For this size I don’t think you can do better for overland camping and everyday driving.
ОтветитьI've had my Ridge Grapplers since Feb, 2017 and have put just under 80,000 miles on them. They still have lots of tread left. I'm sure I'll get 30k to 50k more with them easily. I drive a Toyota Tacoma with 265/70/17. Great tire and will purchase them again when it's time.
ОтветитьI personally love these tyres but I’ve noticed they leak air
Ответитьnitto expensive but nitto is the best
ОтветитьWait, what? The Ridge Grappler is made at the Toyo factory in White. Off hwy 411? I live nearby and work at a small factory in Cartersville. Dammit... one more reason all signs point to Nitto.
ОтветитьJust put a set of 37x12.5x20’s on my truck after a set of Rough Countries and I feel like I’m driving on the streets of gold. You better have some gold , total with road haz warranty ran $2966 but worth every penny. Second set of Nittos and the only one for my truck from here on out🙏🇺🇸
ОтветитьHow are they mileage wise under a 1ton pickup?
Ответитьlol 1 wheel peel
ОтветитьHas anyone really worked them with weight like I would do ? I mean real truck stuff hauling /towing and have they held up without balance and sidewall issues ?
Ответитьlol bootlegger lol taco get your taco's
ОтветитьI wouldn't get these in areas of snow or rain. Had them on my truck in the Northeast. They are barely passable in snow and sketchy at best in the wet. maybe in a southern climate or if you plan on putting on a snow tire. They are great for everything else probably one of the best. I just wasn't happy with wet and snow performance and the odd thing I found in reviews is that it is pretty split down the middle. You can find 100 people that say they are the best and 100 that say they are the worst in wet and snow. This is pretty odd unless it's a quality control issue?
ОтветитьTundra club
ОтветитьLove my Ridge Grapplers on my FJ Cruiser! Quiet and smooth on the street but nice and grippy out on the trails. Aired down, these tires crawl over practically anything. Not too mention, they seem to drive through snow pretty well.
ОтветитьJust turned 35k miles on my 35" ridge grapplers and still have over half the tread left... should be able to get 65k miles out this set before the tread indicators
ОтветитьDude, I love how you nonchalantly called out saying they make these tire for show trucks in 20” and 22” wheels and for the more rugged off road trucks they make them in 17” as well. I have 18” on mine. My friends are all ways asking me why does my truck ride so smooth? I just tell them to stop buying 20” and 22” wheels. I tell them why do you think there are so many off road tires available in 17” wheels. IMO depending on the weight of your truck will decide the size wheel you need. Just my opinion though. Nice review.
ОтветитьWhy do people want quiet mud tires, I just want them loud and to last :)
I'm probably gona go with the nitto muds and waste my money every year because I love humming next to gangsters on the highway ha
where is the tire wear? none sense
ОтветитьRecon Grapplers are coming with a 55K mile warranty! Pretty excited about those.
ОтветитьOne wheel Peel, that yota needs more power!
ОтветитьI put 50,000km of highway driving on my truck every year. I ride dirt bikes as well and about twice a week I spend 20ish minutes on logging roads, and I live in British Columbia Canada where we get snow a few months of the year. I currently have the 295/55/20 Toyo at2 xtremes. I have had them for 3 years and it’s FINALLY ready to replace them. I’m just curious how the ridge grapplers are compared to the at2 xtreme. I am considering moving up a bit in size to a 33x13.5r20.
ОтветитьIs this fullers truck
ОтветитьEveryone I’ve talked to about which A/T tire is the best they all like the Nitto grappler but all have the same complaint not good in wet weather. Maybe they will fix that.
ОтветитьLOL one tire fire!
ОтветитьDO A VIDEO ON THE LARGEST ALL TERRAIN OR X/T TIRE WITH THE LIGHTEST WEIGHT. MY CAP LOCK IS BROKEN IM NOT MAD :D
ОтветитьHey, thanks for the video ... could you please comment on how these do on-road in the wet? I have A/Ts at the moment that are quite slippery so looking at getting new ones, and considering these Nitto Ridge Grapplers while comparing to Wildpeak AT3W and MAXIS RAZR AT811
ОтветитьDid they? Did they handle that one wheel peel well😂
ОтветитьHow would I you rate and describe the winter and snow performance of the RGs? I know you guys get snow out there. Really appreciate the feedback. I see a lot of different opinions on this.
ОтветитьJust bought some used wheels that came with nitto grapplers on them They are definitely worn and make a bit of noise now but still are quieter then some of the cheaper tires I have bought in the past
ОтветитьBad ass Tundra
ОтветитьI have a set on my raptor... I’m in Minnesota and they are crap in the snow. I’ll never buy then again for winter driving
Ответить35k on mines so far. 35" x 12.5" on 20" wheels. (Jeep Wrangker JKU.)
They look like I'll be able to put 30k more on them.
They’re mediocre tires. They stuck in the rain and snow with getting half the life of Toyo AT2s. I had to replace my 305/70-17 ridge Grapps at 35,000 miles because I couldn’t take the horrible traction.
ОтветитьThanx for the info . Next time you feel the need to do a burnout ,Lock your rear diff , If that is not aval ? Upgrade so you don't don't look like an ass , in my grandmothers Pontiac catalina.
ОтветитьThat's exactly how I want my Tundra to look! Badass!!
ОтветитьBest money spent is the NO-SPIN SYSTEM by protech for toyotas, both wheels spin
ОтветитьI cant find anything definite on which is quieter on highway between ridge grappler and open country at3. Does anyone have an answer to this that has actually had them both?
ОтветитьThese tires are great. 20k on them still looking as new. I've used them on road at high speeds (120mph) no issues, also used them while climbing dunes and I didn't even need to air down. They have very good grip on every condition. Almost no noticeable noise and their aggressive looks its amazing. I would buy them again for sure.
ОтветитьYou did a one wheel burnout mate.
ОтветитьNice one wheel wonder! Lol!!
ОтветитьIm looking into buying the nitto exo grapplers for winter here in Montana, and the ridge grapplers for the summer. However, going that route gets really expensive. Would you recommend running just these all year round? I know you sort of touched on this in the video but just hoping you had a chance to experience both tires and could give me some clarity on this.
Thanks.
What part of Wisconsin you from?
ОтветитьWhat’s the point of doing a burnout????
