Not all black paints are created equal. You have hard paints soft paints. 1 stage 2 stage paints. Paint on metal aluminum plastic or fiberglass. Check with a local auto body paint shop to see what your ride has so you know how to approach it.
ОтветитьIf you are doing black and using Megs compounds, you are missing the boat on doing it quicker and better with other products.
I said what I said.
Where do you get your peas? They’re massive blobs
Ответитьlarry that animation chronic bradda
Ответитьeveryone is a Freemason ... and " IN THE CLUB " i get it ...... : (
ОтветитьGreat content in your videos I've seen. My car has bright spots that show more in the sun from a nightmare day where I over scrubbed some tar. Would someone be able to tell me what treatment is needed if bright/highlighted spots are "glowing" in one's paint? What level of damage and what is the best fix approach? Thanks!
ОтветитьI'd love to spend a day in the workshop with you guys 💪
ОтветитьLarry can you do more tech videos Like this
ОтветитьThank you so much for your tips I was able to detail my 1st F250 this past week, it was black and it was covered it in the kind of stain you use on wood. Came out looking buttery.
ОтветитьIve used meguires 26 on by black 2006 Silverado since day one and incredibly no swirls ,just deep black shine. I use it on my other vehicle and Harley too. Incredible stuff.
ОтветитьThanks for bringing the masses content that is available for everyone for free Larry. Very much appreciated that I don't have to pay hundreds of dollars to take a class to learn from a professional.
ОтветитьSwiffer Duster should work great
ОтветитьWhat a privilege to work with the best names in the industry Larry a job well done!! You are such an inspiration to me and to alot of aspiring detailers out there.
ОтветитьCongratulations I've seen this video several times I can't get tired of watching it's a real class it's a real college it's a real advanced polishing technique thank you. @hamiltondetailer
ОтветитьHaving a black car is a total nightmare. You'll spend 3days making it car show worthy but you'll only enjoy few hours of it being clean.
ОтветитьWhat about using a clay bar instead of chemicals to clean the paint after the wash and before the buff
ОтветитьOu eu sou um péssimo polidor, ou esse cara ta viajando. Muito produto atrapalha o polimento. O tanto que ele gastou fazendo aquela pequena parte no início seria o suficiente para ele zerar a peça inteira.
ОтветитьI guess I'm using way to much liquid for all my steps based on the amount he uses 😬
ОтветитьUse a real polisher . The rotary buffer or polisher are more effective than those wannabes. A real PRO detailer uses rotary buffer .
ОтветитьFirst I have sat for hours watching your videos. Ive been taking care of my own cars for some 30 years. Ive had few that left me scratching my head. but nothing like this. I have a 2007 BMW Z4 M. I spent 2 years looking for this car with this combination of paint color and interior. the color is black sapphire. I just sat through your video (4th time). My problem is the hayes. is there a pad of black paint.
ОтветитьI have heard doing an alcohol wipe down is safe as long as you dilute it with distilled water
Ответитьi have heavy swirls on my car and small scratces.....My polisher machine can reach the 4800 orbits per minute....Ultimate Compound can t remove the swirls and small scratces but it can give a mirror shine and restores faded colours. Which product should i buy to remove swirls and small scratches from a red car?
ОтветитьSpring is coming here in Minnesota and I’m pulling the black 996 out soon. I’m going to get busy now! Winter beater is silver so it will get some love. Blue Macan is in the running. So much to learn as I’m more a mechanic than a detailer. Great channel! Been watching this grow for years.
ОтветитьSooooo Major prep then!
Start with Clean paint. If not clean, MOdown.
After Modown use a new pad and step back the polish (PRIME THE PAD)
Refine polish as final step.
If in doubt change the pad.
Thank you for the advice! I needed it! :D
Man it's just a car clean it then use it you guys just enjoy your special car.
ОтветитьThank you for the video
ОтветитьOr if u have single scratch you can just sanded with 1500 P and 2000 P and then buffed with moderate amount of compound and then finish polish. This you take less amount of clear, less heat and less stress to that section.
ОтветитьJust bought a black truck and I knew what I was getting into. But it’s worth it.
Wish you guys didn't speak legalese or detailese. I have no clue wtf you are saying.
ОтветитьI struggled for 2/3 of a car with the cutting process not working like normal. Watched this for the 80th time and voila. This definitely worked immediately.
Ответитьi just think Barry is a TOP NOTCG guy that's mostly why i buy his stuff..lol...
ОтветитьTakes time and an eye for detail . I love doing black cars
ОтветитьA great value to saving time
ОтветитьMoral of the story: dont have a black car.
ОтветитьI have a 2001 black hilander.
From past 5 feet it looks great...
Get close and watter spots every where...that have been there awhile . And lots of small scratches plus the hood looks like someone shot it a few hundred times with a BB gun.
A noob to car detailing and polishing. Just purchase all equipment and chemicals to give it serious TLC.Almost $200 😮..and it's 105 outside and I don't have a garage 😢 But I will figure it out.
Been religiously watching and saving best available videos in preparation so thank you for this one as it's specifically designed for my situation 😊
1200,1500,3000,wet,3m smurf blood and top off with a coat or two on mquires gold class removed gently and worry for a week and do it all over.
ОтветитьChemical bazooka larry has a way to make this fun and his selection of his words is great
ОтветитьLove from india
ОтветитьCarpro descale
ОтветитьThey definitely made it more complicated than it really has to be. I love and enjoy taking care of my black Tacoma, but Jesus...
ОтветитьI like my cars and my women like I like my coffee..Black
ОтветитьI hate when people say it’s difficult. It just takes a few more passes, generally speaking.
ОтветитьAs the owner of a black car othat lives on a dirt road, i have learnt over time to NOT use polish. A 100 percent cotton rag ot T shirt after washing folded into quarter size. I do 1 or 2 passes in the direction of the metal flow, then turn the rag a quarter turn. I do this 4 times then turn rag over to a new section. This method guarantees my car is like fucking glass every day..and the cotton being used ensures the dust bpunces off the paint as its so fine. Microfibre cloths are not tightly woven enough to get your psint like mirrored glass. Its painstaking work, but once you have the surface reflective its incredibly easy to maintain. Polish just fills the surface to make it appear smooth. This method makes it smooth. Never ever use any electrical buffers or polishers. By hand. You are welcome..you will be able to see the poes on your face in your paint.
ОтветитьThanks for the video I have a black rx7fd and don’t want to send it to anyone, I plan on spending a lot of time thankfully it’s not to big of a car lol.
ОтветитьExcellent video. Yes, it is not a quick detail however, we are dealing with a black car. It's very different from any other color. Again, great hard work with greater results.
ОтветитьDo a Bladk AMG SL63 . The clear coat is HARD AS NAILS. I dare you to upload a video on that car.
ОтветитьDetail Jesus approves
ОтветитьBlack has got to be the best worst car color.
