I have kept and older phone just to run things. Like my drone or for that so i still have my main communication and my controller is not affected. I also use it to film things (last was a presentation/class my wife did) ive found its worth keeping one

I like the self portrait part too!

I've headed out the door so many times recently because of a little alarm clock, haha! looks like an interesting tool
