wow i am spechless, thank you about you are inspired people. regards from, Aceh, Indonesia
ОтветитьI went last summer. i find it unforgivable to risk the life of a Polar Bear for entertainment, photography film making etc. If a Bear stumbled by then did his natural thing and attack you he loses his life - not good. I was on a boat where you are safe from bears and they are safe from you. Of course I would love to roam but it really is just not fair.
ОтветитьVery well done, Morten. Loved the timelapses and your interesting commentary. When backpacking in Alaska I've used a battery-powered electric fence that worked really well for brown bears. We even stored our food inside the fence and never had a single issue with bears even though they were all around us. The fence is powered by two ordinary D-cells that last for up to a month.
Anyway, I'm going to watch Svalbard Part II now and I'm prepared to totally enjoy it.
I just discovered this channel tonight and I LOVE IT!!!!

ОтветитьHi, I’m leaving next week for a solo expedition in Svalbard and found your video, amazing I can’t wait to be there
I don’t have any bear banger or bear alarm for my tent, where can I get one? I’m from London (UK) and don’t find anything on amazon, don’t have many ideas of shops, I’ll get to Longyearbyen with the plane, is there somewhere I can find it maybe in the city? Do I need any kind of licence to buy it? Thank you you are amazing
Thanks for sharing this amazing experience realy amazing Love From Pakistan...
ОтветитьJust found your channel....and I can already tell that I'm going to love it! I love travel and photography...and coffee!!
You are, however, so much more brave than me!!
Am I the only one who was bothered at the fact that he looked down the barrel?
ОтветитьHave you ever used an electric bear fence? Great video -- your content is far far among the very vest available. Off to enjoy parts 2 and 3 :)
ОтветитьDo you think one snublebluss per pole is sufficient? what alternatives can you recommend as they are hard to find. So far we have been doing bear watches, but it would be nice to skip that part of the trip and ensure everyone is well rested :)
ОтветитьLooks Amazing 👍👍
ОтветитьYou are the very brave man and making very good. Videos i am a indian telugu guy which living in telengana my full family watch daily your videos iam a big fan to you.
ОтветитьLooks great. What /time month have you been there?
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьCan we take a moment and appreciate how much effort this man puts into these videos. It is mind blowing to me that i get to watch this for free. The amount of time and effort to set up all these cameras by yourself, always be on top of everything capturing multiple angles and editing this perfectly to have no dead space in the videos. On top of that create stunning photos and time lapses. Well done, thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьInspiring
ОтветитьNice shooting!!
ОтветитьHi Morten I'm not sure if you will be able to read this. I assume that a person like you must be very busy. But I wanted to say that you truly inspired me to continue my childhood dream and that is to make awesome documentaries like you do in nature, surrounded by wildlife. At a young age I've always watched Animal planet and National deographic and always wanted to make documentaries. During my childhood a lot happened to that effected me personally, to the point I decided to change career paths, I became a chef. Over the years I've always found that something was missing. That was until I found your channel you've showed me that you can make documentaries without being on TV and inspired me to soon follow the same path. Over the last couple of months a lot has happened duo to that virus. I decided to not buy a house and instead buy a big van to build my own motohome to travel around the world and make my own documentaries one of my goals is to one day hopefully have such success as you do. But my main goal Is to just achieve my dreams and that is making documentaries of our beautiful world to hopefully keep people aware of how much beautiful nature we have and should not take for granted! Thankyou for inspiring me :) If you ever happened to be in the Netherlands you are more than welcome to use my Van for as long as you need. Thankyou for inspiring me🙏
ОтветитьAS the boat arrives at the island there is already a camera on the shore to do the video of the landing . So can I assume there is a camera man or crew other than Morten. ? I felt scared all through this video about bears . I could not even think of doing that, but if i did I would want a 9mm pistol with me and a blazing good torch light .
Ответитьexcellent aim ! GREAT VIDEO ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning scenery as a backdrop for your camp Morten the mountains looked like castle ramparts, the video was beautifully filmed as always.
ОтветитьHard to even describe what Morten brings to his audience. If ever there was an example of living your best life, it’s him. And always with gratitude.
More Morten, less of everything else.
