I went ahead and bought the Apex trigger upgrade and I installed it myself. Now my gun is perfect

Wish this gun was 600$ around my city this coast 4000$ if you can even find it

Just picked this gun up at a gun show for $300. Terrific deal. It may have been carried by an LEO but if it was, he didn't fire it hardly at all. It looked brand spankin' new.

I just bought one... I have a question... How come on the takedown I have to use the tool in the mag well/hand grip to lift up a bar to take off the slide??? I'm a new gun owner and I hate the have to move that pin every time I take the slide off????

In California , the Smith and Wesson M&P is Law Enforcement only 😕. I retired before buying one.

I suggest you read the manual-------- the part about take down and moving the small arm down and out of the way before removing slide

I got an mp 40. I agree with the other patriot everybody compares handguns to a glock. I dont like glocks. They look like a highpoint firearm to me. Junk

I have all of the m/p line from 22to45 only thing I’ve done is I put a apex trigger on the 40 and it’s been flawless for over 2,000 rounds.. But I highly recommend any of the product to anyone looking for a reliable handgun and well worth the money you won’t be dissatisfied.....

Luv the M/P line have 4 myself but mine didn’t come with the nice blue box mine was cardboard!! Lol and did you mention a lifetime warranty no matter what and who owns it.. and their customer service is second to none that’s why I love Smith and Wesson they really stepped up to the plate...

I personally bought this specific model for my first pick ever. a previously shot s&w m&p 40 pro series for $450 while a new not fired same exaxt model for $750... The used one has not stopped shooting or ever jams on me personally i shoot around 150 rounds every time i visit range my barrels are all hot and this is by far the best weight distribution and longer handle with 2 mags and two grips and loads of police training rounds you cant go wrong wrong

I am a former trooper with the Iowa State Patrol, from the revolver days. The ISP converted to autos, first the S&W Mod. 4046, then the S&W M&P. They traded in their M&Ps and re-issued Glock .40 cals ! I really gotta scratch my head on that !! Anyway, I have an as-new ex-ISP M&P and I love it ! x296 ISP.

This gun is fantastic the S&w m&p 2.0 40 caliber they also make them another different calipers much better than the Glock comes with a lot of extra things better than the Glock if you see them at a gun store just know when I'm talking about the only thing it doesn't come with is a magazine speed loader it's no big deal for a few dollars you could buy one on the internet or if you have a Glock 19 that will fit it perfect very well made the only thing you don't get a blue plastic box today they will come in cardboard boxes but every company looks the same a few dollars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇺🇸💯👍

I call GARBAGE !!! I own the same gun but would never carry it concealed. Why you ask ? Because if you loose the mag in a emergency ! It won’t fire. You can’t take it apart without the magazine ! I’m 61 worked law enforcement for a couple years. Don’t buy a gun that won’t fire or can’t be taken apart without the magazine. I love my m&p 40 for plinking and target shooting. I only gamble my life with guns that function properly. No mag no fire no deal !!!
Ps I hated glocks when they came out but I ended up carrying everyday a Glock for 3.5 decades ! Iv carried Walther 99 and PPQ. I now only carry concealed HK V3 Lem guns. Period.

I know this video is old. I have the 2.0 40 caliber. The only complaint that i have is has a curved trigger. All my other M and P has straight triggers. The first firearm that i ever bought was a smith 40 caliber back in 2001. I still have it today.

I love this gun, subcompact is even better.

I'm a really old old timer..veteran. Glocks work...and I have many, however, I like my M & P 40..it's old..and my Ruger P95 which shoots like an old cadillac drives..smooooooth.
