What a poor choice it was to fire Dave Abruzzessee. All for ego and personality conflict. Vitalogy is the last Pearl Jam album I ever bought, because the sound really changed after they switched drummers.

Dave Abbruzzese 👑 Boy did they suck after he left those poor guys with the old lady Eddie Vedder in charge.

A lot of love for Dave Abbruzzese on here, and I understand, but get over it already. Yes, he was great, but so was his predessessor, Dave Krusen, who actually recorded Ten with the band. Jack Irons took the band to places they would've never explored without him, which is some of their most creative work. And enough great things can't be said about Matt Cameron... His resume speaks for itself. And without him, there may have never been a Pearl Jam. It was Matt's playing that Eddie listened to in those early demos when he wrote lyrics to those first PJ song we all know and love.

Incredible footage, sound mix, and edit. Not the mention the band is on fire here, peak pearl jam.

PJ has always been Stone's riffs and Eddies voice/lyrics. Mikes lead guitar too. They have had mutiple drummers and didn't need someone who overplayed like Dave. Just needed a drummer who could keep a good back beat

Dave was a great drummer that doesnt mean he was a great fit for the band. You have to mesh personally and musically... They going to fire Eddie?? Keep dreaming. PJ did just fine without him. Looks like dave needed them more than they needed him. Move on with your lives people

Dave Abruzzese and Mike McCready. Dave was the best damn drummer for PJ absolutely but can we give some love to one incredible guitarist? Mike was one of the best soloists in the grunge era. I've been diving back into the PJ catalog and I had forgotten how good that dude is.
