On the other hand I'm looking at this and thinking 10 years of VR has brought us here.

Tried this myself and it doesnt run that great on my pc.
I recently got myself a RX 7700 XT and i hope this will work better for certain games, still waiting for my new PSU, so i cant try it just yet...

What a phenomenal game. I'm about to try Backrooms VR, but i doubt it's as pretty as this.

They just added that you could go underneath the water for this VR beta because you couldn’t go under when I played it flat.

Strange shout out of the cuff topic. But you really should take a look at captain hardcore. Very well made adult game with pass through. Do you know if we will ever get PC VR pass-through? capability?

When I played it was very slow and the visuals were not nearly as good as when playing the flatscreen version, I think performance needs a fair bit of work from my personal experience. (Quest 2 steam link and some good specs)

Can someone explain why it takes so long to add vr to this game? Maybe i’m stupid but surely its some sort of simple toggle in whatever game engine it is. Doesn’t really seem like they put much effort into hand models or hand physics and stuff so is there something i’m missing that takes a bunch of development time? I genuinely wanna know for these types of VR versions that take forever.

I am so beyond happy this is coming to psvr2. I really hope they implement foveated rendering to make it even more visually crisp. I see myself replaying this game over and over as a form of meditation.

You can run by holding one of the triggers. Also dunno if you did this by accident but it looks like you recorded via game capture rather than openvr, you get a lot more FOV with openvr. Didn’t find the official exit when I played but I might return and see how it looks onto PSVR2 with the OLED.

Oh cool it runs on my potato as well. Can't wait.

Even with enabling the VR in Beta mode, I can't load it in VR, and it doesn't appear in Steam VR... Does anybody know what to do please?

Aw Dude if you like how this looks and feels, you should check the liminal VRChat pool worlds. There are tons and tons of them and they look and feel staggeringly real and you can swim etc in them.

There’s like this balance between wanting to get on a slide but also not wanting to get in the water because you’re afraid the noise may attract something 😂 there’s def something else in there with you snatching ladders and ish lol
