Rory must have felt bad hearing all those PGAT fans cheering against him - chanting USA/USA. Must be hard for Rory not to think to himself “I should have taken the $700 Million from LIV” maybe even right before he missed the putt on 18, who knows? Rory’s character is improving. I hope to see him just stay and only play the European Tour for 2 to 5 years. Rory has the European Fans behind him & with less stress off the PGAT maybe Rory can play again just for the love of the game, and has his true supporters with him.

My guess is getting away from the PGAT burn out - is the only way for Rory to win another major. There was no shame in finishing 2nd at a US Open. Good luck at the Open Rory. 😀

I hit a beautiful pitching wedge yesterday. Drew it into 3ft from 145 yards. Played for the bounce and got it spot on.
My smiles quickly evapourated as I hit a McIlroy putt. At least mines lipped out. Actually tbh it was more like Brysons second putt on 15.

So is the media darling Rory going to be raked over the coals for refusing all interviews, peeling his tires on leaving, withdrawing from the next tournament and going into hiding? Because that sure sounds like the Bryson of old, when every week there was an article on how awful he was.

It's sad that McIlroy's choke and following tantrum is garnering equal press, if not more, to DeChambeau's victory. And now we have McIlroy's "explanation" that totally skirts his appalling bad sportsmanship and conduct. A well-earned congrats to Bryson, a well-earned grow the hell up to Rory.

I think the putter shaft has an advantage. I can believe that if Bryson uses the same check as Rory. There's no way to defeat him.
