Hello Sir SYC, FM23 scouting system is a bit different from FM22, do you have any plans to make a new scouting video aroung FM23 and to find the big talents?

I´ve been using this method for my Groningen save in FM22. Most entertaining save I have ever had I believe. Yet to knock the big 3 of their perch though. That will happen eventually

New sub here. Really grateful for all he tips, especially around scouting. I also have a question around scouting ists, if anyone in the comments knows the answer, I would appreicate it. I'm 6 years int my save and now I've come accross this method, I really want to clear oout all of my scouting lists, but am finding it difficult or am missing smething. Does anyone know how to delete list and remove players in bulk from them? I'm talking about shortlists, scouted players list and scout assignment lists. Cheers!

You need to go into continent-page or nation-page and then go to transfers, and then youth intake. Then you scout them one week. And you do this around the time of youth intakes around the world, typical january/march at least. This is by far the best way to get the biggest talents discovered early, and keeps you ahead of the pack. Require many scouts and scouting budget, but only way you want to get these 15-17 year olds signed early.

Wait, it costs extra money for individual scouting?

I know I’m late to the party with this, but if your team doesn’t have the scouting budget for even UK&Ireland, never mind the world, am I right in thinking the closest you could get to this method would be manually looking at each player yourself. Obvs it would help with attribute masking off that way

I have a problem with this method. There is no Report in my mailbox. Ever. Some players appear in Scouting Centre, but the number does not match what I ordered my scouts to check. Can anyone help?

How to get ONE big scout update, like in the video? I only get like 20 individual reports OR one report regarding individual player.

When I do this all I get is scouting finished rather then scouting update so I have to look at each player stats before I can get rid is there anyway to fix this?

Have you been testing this method in fm23 too? I loved it last year, for some reason it doesnt seem to work for me this year. The scouting seems to take a lot longer or something

I disable attribute masking in all my saves, but I always avoid using "Player Search". So my question, even with no masking, will consistently scouting these players 1-week throughout the season still give me more accurate star ratings?

I'm so tired of seeing estimated high potential on trash players.

Hi, SYC can't thank you enough for this video. I've been doing similar things on fm 22 in my Portugal save, but never in such a big scale as you did in the video because i don't want my inbox flooded with hundreds of scouting stuff. Now thanks to you, i know that the report can be directed to the scouting center instead of the inbox. This is such a big improvement in my scouting QoL. I've been playing this game for almost 10 years and still learning something new😂

It's possible to select all the Albanian players they they are playing in Sweden? And to make list with a specifik nationality that they are U16 or u17?

So much easier to use a program to find out what a players PA is rather than faffing around with scouts, I know it's probably a dirty thing that "true" FM players don't like but ain't nobody got time to sit there for 8 in game weeks for your scouts to run all those reports and bring back potentially incorrect information.

Do you give your scouts assignments or they are just left without assignments?

Not all the best youngsters are in their national teams for various reasons. But, all the best youngsters have decent attributes and that's where i rather focus for filtering. Nobody needs to check every other team that exist in the game all one by one, manually.

Why you tick off started scounting player? What exactly it changes?

Oh so this is just FM 2022, well do yourself a favor and check out the recommended players, if there are any, in the team dynamic section since those will for sure fit in with the team most likely and is the best recommended players i assume just like that. I have been playing this series on and off since the start so maybe the tip is worth something, and i do agree with the clips suggestions.

Coming back after having watched this a week ago. I love this method and recommend this highly.
I am a small-ish club in Iceland so a lot of the player won't even think about joining me but i'm sill getting a lot of good prospects and have signed several that will either be future first team players or net me good amount of money, and i'm not even that far into the scouting tasks, there's so much left.

Once you take the 10-15 minute grueling task of starting the queue of scouting, it's pretty easy to whittle down the list to good prospects.

Again, love this, highly recommend!

when selecting the players in the country list, i see you pick based on age, but do you ever take a quick look at the right side of the screen to see if there are some 19+ players with multiple yellow/green stats? it's distracting me , so i'm curious what other people do lol
