BITOSA Jaipur Inaugural Event

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - a 60 year old leading educational institute with 9 campuses in and around India is home of 50,000+ BITians.
BITOSA Global is the Official BIT Mesra Alumni body, with 8000+ registered alumni and has 9 chapters all across the globe.

Birlas's have origin and strong presence in Rajasthan. Be it Industry, Education or Society. BIT Jaipur campus is 20 year old and produced over 6000 graduates from 10 different courses. Currently around 1200 students are studying in the campus.

Jaipur has potential to become Global center and a model chapter that can host BITians all across the globe; With the launch of BITOSA Global – Jaipur Chapter, we are committed to bridge the gap and contribute back to our institution.

On Jan 30, 2016 Jaipur become the 10th and youngest chapter under the umbrella organization. The event happened at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur and 300+ BITians participated in the event from all across the Globe. The Highlights of the event are:


• Day started with BIT Jaipur campus visit for alumni and their families.
• We celebrated the Diamond Jubilee (60 years) of BIT, Mesra and 20 years of Jaipur Campus. An exhibition of Memorabilia of history displayed at Birla Auditorium.
• The event was the biggest reunion of BITians ever happened in Rajasthan. 200 Alumni from all around India and 10 Faculties and 150 Students from BIT Jaipur Campus attended the event.
• Dr Abhinav Dinesh (Director, BIT Jaipur campus) acknowledged the initiative and promised extending full support.
• Mr Adi Guru Das (BITian since 2006) Motivational speaker and founder, Groom Institute was MC (Master of ceremony)
• Mr JK Baid, (BITians since 1962) Owner, Vitronaturals , Mr Anil Agarwal, (BITians since 1980) Owner, Supersonic Turners and Mr Nitin Jain (BITians Since 2006), Creator, indibni design studio shared their story.
• We had a Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship, Job Opportunities and Innovation for Students with BIT Faculties and BIT Alumni
• Mr Richie Mittal (Vice President, BITOSA Global) gave introduction about BITOSA Global
• Mr Naren Bakshi is the chief mentor with us and delivered the keynote. (He is a silicon valley based, Jaipur born serial entrepreneur, from 59-63 Batch and patron of BITOSA Global).
• Mr Rohit Saboo (CEO, NEI) shared 60 Year Pictorial Journey of BIT Mesra
• We felicitated Mr N.K. Banthiya, (Former Faculty 59-75, BIT Mesra) with Lifetime Mentor Award and 10 senior BITians who have completed their Golden Jubilee of being BITian (Graduation Year till 1966).
• Mr Avinash Singh (Secretory, BITOSA Kolkata) supported the society with INR 40,000/- as seed money from BITOSA Kolkata
• We had a Musical Fusion by students and alumni of BIT Jaipur campus, in the evening.
• NBC (National Bearing Company) was the Title Sponsor, K.P. Automotives, Vitro Naturals, & JLC Electromet were Co-Sponsors and indibni was the design partner with the event.
• The Managing body of BITOSA Jaipur society announced
