Those are slick connectors. I wish we saw them more in the US.

I suppose thats probably the better way to do things for a cooker, since people arent moving stuff often.
Though for use North Americans, usually an electric stove just has a chunky 240 volt plug (which is actually just taking the two split phase 120 volt "rails" we get in our homes and basically "shorting" them out to get 240 volts since both 120 volt parts of our homes are setup to be in opposite phases so if one 120 volt section is Positive 120v, and the other is -120v, the differance in potential still gives you 240v at the socket for a Dryer, welder, stove, etc.

Oof, glad ours just plugs in instead of having to screw around (heh) with terminals.

Why not have CEE plug 17 ? I mean they are standard reliable and easy to plug and work up to 32 A...

At first place why do u have this complexity - just have a 16 or 25 amp socket with a 3 pin top - it's really simple 😂😂😂

Could you please show a clip making off the oven side of the H07RNF 6mm flex. Strain relief and minimal space around the terminals made this impossible for me...

Screwing stranded wires without crimping before. It looks like a temporary solution.

@TheAzynder - 08.04.2025 22:45

There was no need for a fix though.
There were already 1,2 and 3 phase plugs for cookers.
There were also lever wagos.
This ain't bad but most stoves here use 3 phases so it falls a bit short in some applications.

Not used to UK plugs and sockets, sorry.
Comments talk about an oven connector, but I don't even know what those are. Certainly not here in Spain, here everything has Phillips' Type F Schuko plugs.

Crimping on a connection just to lug down those wires. Europeans should invent their own internet while they're at it and share this stuff there.
