I thought there were missing parts until I checked inside of the water bucket. Saved me the hassle of a phone call.

The direct drain hose in my unit is too loose even if I slide it all the way in. I tried to use a zip tie to keep it in place to no avail. Suggestions?

I need a longer drain line to reach the drain area. Can I use a regular hose?

ok, so I have used this for about a year constantly emptying the bucket. With a new radon mitigation system I now have more moisture in the basement of our house. As we are planning on a hurricane and a vacation, I decided to try the continuous drain. The written manual was not very specific on hose connections etc, so I found the how-to for Danby, and only after connecting the continuous hose wrong did I see that I did not have it attached properly or securely. Now all is attached correctly. Thank you for the video.

The insulated hose that came with the machine is too big to fit on the connecting port.

I came here because the manual is insufficient. I agree the drain hose and outlet combinations arn't very clear in the manual, we could use more pictures or descriptions. This video helped. It also says to use pipe cleaners to clean drain ports before use but they don't include any. Hopefuly you dont' need them for the first use but the manual doesn't specify that either. The bucket felt flimsy and didn't slide back into place as easily as my other dehumidifier but only time will tell if this is an issue. I'm excited to start using but have to wait 6 hours to plug it on because I put it on the side while transporting. It would be great if this information was on the outside of the box so I could read it before transporting. Now it's an inconvenience to wait 6 hours before plugging it in I will have make a second trip back to where it is after waiting 6 hours. I hoped I could use immediately, frustrating. Don't even get me started on the packing tape that doesn't peel off easily either. I will have to go over it with some goo gone to get all the residue off of everything. Even after all this I'm optimistic and hope ths unit will last a long time, if not it's back to Costco with their excellent return policy.

Hi, for the pump option, it has a water leak at the bottom. We never make it work. The instruction said it needs to put in firmly and deep 15 mm. Doing that already. Please help. Also, how to take the hose out after inserted. It is stuck there. BTW This is the second one we bought two already. Get the same result. Everything works fine except the pump option.

Where does the other end of the drain and the pump go. It may sound stupid but there are enough stupid people around. Better to add a demo about it

I just used this dehumidifier for one summer (2021), and it is broken now (May, 2022). I tried to reach the support because it is still under warranty; however, just received one reply and gone! Do not recommend.

Is there a better video showing how to set up the controls? We only got a two page manual with this machine, i dont understand how to set this up to properly dehumidify.
