November? December 6th…winter is early in MA!
ОтветитьGood morning Chris!!😀😀
ОтветитьI love this time of year! Christmas tree farm down the road, and I am refilling the bundle stand twice a day!
ОтветитьNice video Chris. Earlier this week a festively packaged bottle of Canadian Club,Small Batch whiskey appeared on my doorstep with a note from my neighbor. I loaded my Polaris Ranger with some two year old, Ash firewood and waited for the lights to come on in his shop. I delivered the wood, we started a fire in the fire pit and cracked the bottle open to share a few stories, a couple of drinks and a fine fire. My kind of customer/friend and typical notification to deliver wood. GNI
ОтветитьChris, been watching for a couple years and never seen anyone ask this yet- what is the name of your firewood business? Does it have a name?
Ответитьit amazes me that people don't plan ahead... i make a point of collecting free wood during the SUMMER when no-one is thinking about burning wood... it's strange that people leave it to the last minute, it not like WINTER is a surprise is it?
also, not that I'll ever be a customer of yours Chris (unless you start delivering to the UK) but do you charge less for deliveries in the summer rather than autumn/winter deliveries? could be a way of shifting wood and spreading your deliveries....
got a call at midnight followed by a txt for firewood. better respond asap!
ОтветитьKeep up the great job 👏🏻
RO GA LA!!!
17 degrees last night with a single to negative windchill. had a customer last night show up at 8pm to get a truckload. yep my crates full, i will make my self available to fix your needs.
ОтветитьGood morning firewood is all work keep your customer happy ( Ty Ron
ОтветитьYou need to thank whoever made you move your woodyard for making you more efficient in your drying process
ОтветитьCan I have your phone number? Sent an email about the vise and didn’t hear back.
ОтветитьShort class today Professor? Hmmm. Gotta feed the cats. Ok. See ya tomorrow. 😊
ОтветитьHappy Customers😊
ОтветитьYou produce excellent firewood. The dumping sound is the Benjamin two step. Deliver often 👍👍👍
ОтветитьChris love your videos. Thanks for the content. The help with protective gear.
ОтветитьTrailer needs a little bit of WD40 haha
ОтветитьA customer who can’t wait two hours I don’t want. Still be as fast a possible but that’s just not realistic.
ОтветитьMorning Chris , very good information and tips on keeping the customer happy . 👍🏻🇺🇸
ОтветитьCase ih came out with a 50 ft combine
ОтветитьGood morning woodhounds
ОтветитьI am usually 1 to 2 weeks behind anyway, but i let you know that right at the front of the conversation. So far everyone has been happy.
ОтветитьChris great info working on getting to know our trailer so we can do like you do an throw it in. Turned out that more orders than expected. Have to re cut because I was making firewood for us we have a would boiler. Different plan for rest of season and next.
ОтветитьYour spot on Chris, if you’re selling then you’re providing customer service. Take care of your customers.
Ответить23° in central Arkansas, and I can't fill orders fast enough!!!
ОтветитьG’morning Chris ! Great tune !!! Excellent chuckàge of the rickarankarowathirds !! Have you broken any bolts on the glacier lately ? Great words of wisdom.
GoodNightIrene
I’m curious if you are covering your piles this winter?
ОтветитьChris, now your drying time will be a lot better now that the corn is gone excellent video 😮😊❤
ОтветитьYou’re not wrong but man if you loose a customer because of just a couple hours between getting a call and returning it? I’d rather cultivate a customer base that isn’t that impatient.
ОтветитьNice reminder. We went from 50s to 6. The switch always flips Thanksgiving Day weekend.
Ответить🎉👍
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьAnother great video time is money and you built up a clientele that depends on you so got to work hard to make everyone happy Chris watching how far you came is great but you treat people good give a little extra means a lot to customers and make you feel better thanks again Chris for like your biography of the life of a firewood man and the best out there reason I say that cause people learn everytime they watch your channel and if have questions like me you answered them means a lot thanks my friend Chris
ОтветитьHi Chris, Started the fire with Ash and then moved over to oak with Blackthorn and the box is white inside...no blacking
ОтветитьI've definitely been guilty of having to push orders back due to unforseen circumstances and then having to deal with big delivery days. I'm just lucky that there's only 1 other firewood guy in my area, and we cover each other if needed 😂 so no matter what, the customers go to either him or I.
ОтветитьAlways amazed how quickly you can fill up the trailer 😂
Ответитьmy dad was a business owner back in the day, he made sure that all of us kids knew when a customer calls, to let him know ASAP, and that was way before cell phones. today in my side hustle firewood business, my wife cant understand why i am so adamant about getting back to customer as soon as i do.
ОтветитьGreat video Chris. Reminds me a of saying, which in my young 43 years has stuck with me: “Treat others as you would like to be treated.” Exceed the customers expectations and they will reward you with more business. Granted, you have those who are turds and will try to take advantage of you but those are easy to solve, pound dirt and find some other supplier. Either way you look at it, you have grown 3 businesses that I can think of you a great success. I know you know a thing or 2 about taking care of your customers. Great job professor. See you on the next one. Good Night Irene. 👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьI believe most of my customers are wood stove users. I split small for easy handling. Most all firewood in my area is sold as boiler size. I don’t get much competition. I do hurry to make deliveries quickly. Learned a lot watching you for past couple years 😊
ОтветитьWhere are you located ?
ОтветитьAnother great video full of good information. Thanks, again, for taking the time to take us along.
Ответить2 nice loads. Good advice. Man Chris the chain oil is expensive compared to last year.
ОтветитьYou know it. Simple ....good customer service in a timely manner.
ОтветитьRick, a rank a roe!!! Lol!!
ОтветитьGreat advice on taking care of your customers!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
ОтветитьGood one 👍🏻
Ответить🤘
ОтветитьI'v returned a missed calls from new customers within a 1/2 hour and they found someone else.
ОтветитьThat’s Right always take care of your customers the ones that pay quickly anyway
Ответить
