Watching that GB rider at 0.25x speed, it looks like his legs simply gave out. It didn't look like he hit the second rider's front wheel. Otherwise, they would have surely wobbled badly or crashed out. They knew they were behind, gave it their everything, and this was the result. I love the velodrome Olympics but I wish it was a even playing field. Each bike costs $100,000 so is it technology that wins a medal or just pure 100% talent ? Poorer competing nations use a cheaper inferior bike,so no chance of winning a medal. I would like a Olympic approved bike that no country is allowed to tamper with and then we will see a even playing film and hopefully poorer countries have a shot at winning !
