I know I’m late to the party but by god what a great podcast, especially the section regarding adhd around 1hr 38mins, there’s a huge spike in the Uk regarding kids and adhd and I think it’s due to lack of sleep 😮this is the tv we need nowadays, not reality tv and all that crap, tv that’s beneficial, bravo joe rogan, thank you for this info 👍🏻

ОтветитьAnd I thought I was getting good sleep with a couple drinks every night... I'm scared to quit...
ОтветитьThis was the first JRE I ever listened too lmao
ОтветитьAfter school sports practice wasn’t mentioned and that’s a huge factor!
ОтветитьIn ancient India in Sanskrit language marijuana is called as "Vijaya" which means victory ✌️........Lots of love ❤to the stoners of the entire world we are family
ОтветитьWhen u fall off a cliff in ur dream why do you jump up?
ОтветитьHe's good but he's so sickly nice and has a chavvy English accent.
ОтветитьLook at what’s happened to famous chef Heston Blumenthal if you want to see what 20 hours’ sleep a week does to you.
ОтветитьMicrosleep and driving.
I had this happen to me when driving home one night. A car in front of me started to slow down and indicated to turn, they were crossing lanes and needed to stop for an oncoming car. I remember the brake lights and flashing indicator and at that moment, I blinked... this blink was a nap, and when my eyes opened the car was gone. I was further up the road, the car that had been in front of me, was now behind me in the rear view mirror, still waiting for their opening to turn.
I had fallen asleep, my mind had registered to the vehicle in front of me seconds before this, and I somehow autonomously adjusted my path around them as if I had been awake. It was all in what seemed like a blink.
I was only about 4 blocks from home at that stage, bjt I still got out and walked the rest of the way.
Dr. Walker, do ALL humans have the same circadian rhythms?Meaning do we all need to get our 7+ sleep hours at the same hours. Night person VS Morning person?
ОтветитьMan, remember when Rogan just interviewed experts in different cool and interesting fields? Simpler times...
ОтветитьMY FIANCÉ DOES THE SAME THING , HIS NICKNAME IS TWITCHY AND IM NOW MRS TWITCHY
ОтветитьI find it funny that his last name is "Walker" and he looks like Chuck Norris during the 70s.
ОтветитьDefinitely get this guy back on, what a cool topic. Wasn’t expecting to listen to the whole thing when I started
ОтветитьLmao ..thought Rohan said take “ICe” ..lmao
Ответитьkesınlıkle uykunun onemı hakkında bılgı veren en onmelı vıdeolardan bırı.oOzellıkle son kısımda tartısılan konu bırcok ulke ıcın cok onemlıdydı
ОтветитьIm 47 and have been sleeping amazingly for the last 10 years due to recognising the need for sleep preparation. I fall asleep within 2 minutes of my head hitting the pillow.... I'm fit healthy and look very young for my age, I drink plenty of water and switch off an hour before bed... Routine is key.... Cats have 9 life's and sleep 18 hours a day
ОтветитьHi Joe, we need Matthew back this year to (2025) 😊
ОтветитьSorry now people but NO ONE ran a super marathon over 3 days while ony having 1 minutes sleep. Absolutely absurd bullshite.
ОтветитьCan u do the Interview of Chuando Tan ??
ОтветитьEasily one of the best JRE episodes.
ОтветитьMost docs known nothing of sleep. I get 1.2% REM and 0% L3 deep rest. I’ve made my own theories and models to cope with being crazy AF. Matthew Walker is the only sleep researcher that’s of any use
ОтветитьAnother podcast for this guy? Im sure there is a ton more science about sleep in the last 6 years
ОтветитьThis guy talks so much shit and is so smug if I tried sleepin with socks and gloves I would melt and never sleep he thinks he’s conquered sleep because he’s learned some book
ОтветитьThat was a super interesting episode of the podcast.
ОтветитьThis guy is so sharp and onpoint, definitely sleeps well.
ОтветитьI went 30 days without sleep in 2016.
Ответитьwhy the hell this episode so short?
ОтветитьI know this podcast came out 6 years ago, but better late than never I suppose. I really needed this wake up call.
ОтветитьHey this is pretty cool…
ОтветитьThis has got to be one of the most insightful talks I've ever seen. Talk about something so key to our lives but yet being ignored on a daily basis by sleeping less than 7 hours
ОтветитьBULL SHIT MATHEW..IT WAS TESLA WHO TOOK US ON CONTROLLING ELECTRICITY NOT EDISON......EDISON WAS INDEED A PIECE OF SHIT....
ОтветитьDevastating to find out that I didn't break the world record even though I couldn't have proved it by my 16 days. I had with my last four trips to the ER on the last 4 days each night trying to get help and them turning me away.
ОтветитьDr Walker Texas Ranger
ОтветитьIt’s 2:40am and I bed wake up at 8
